lots of possibility that paper money will be removed because of things that is happening right now, many company already adopting crypto currency, credit card and lots of other ways to do bussiness but the question is how safe we are if we are not holding it physically? I don't want to see my grand son just ask me to have his/her own cc to candies, I still want paper money to exist just how we used it today.

i don't think that paper money will be banned, but everything leads to virtual money/bitcoin in future, because much easier to use

and  i think that it will be hard to use them at first, but after some years people will happy to use them

I agree bitcoin will not replace fiat. fiat would have released version other than banknotes. but I do not think bitcoin will be lost or unused. bitcoin will become an option for fiat its cool!

Even if paper money disappears, it still won't be for a very long time. It won't happen for a long time, because the government will be able to control fiat currency much easier, so bitcoin won't replace it very soon.

yeah If it happens of course it takes a very long time. maybe a few more centuries although it happened. Fiat will make new features than banknotes. so it will be difficult for bitcoin to replace fiat

I think paper money will remain in future also but there are many chances that their use will be decreased. Nowdays everyone is using plastic money like debit cards and credit cards so there is less use of traditional paper money.

i don't think that we will ever remove paper money, even if bitcoin will be very popular in future and everyone will know it, there still will be people that will use paper money, but of course, less then it's used right now, in 2016

Can you tell me please where did you find this number of 50 years? Paper money is nothing special and important.
