governments simply aren't interested in incorporating bitcoin. they can't deal with the fact that it is something they can't control. paper money will stay at least for another 10-20 years.
Paper money is going to stay for another couple of years because it is going to be a whole process to make everything digital. I think that it is going to be different per country because not every country can afford it.

Paper money will always survive and it will always be used by majority of people and bitcoin can never take over paper money in future too.

No, paper money will be gone in a decade. When asked, Christine Lagarde said that she doesn't believe cash will exist in 10 years, so do the math. We are going to a society with no physical cash, this is why Bitcoin will be worth thousands of not millions of dollars a coin. I don't understand how many times I have to say this until people realize.

You cannot judge or predict the future of paper money on the basis of single person's statement, be realistic and be practical and that will help you in long run.
Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Well you just have to keep your patience and say it over and over again. Maybe someday they will realize it also. Dont give up. Sink that opinion of yours in their minds. If that is your belief then go for it.

I am one of those who dont believe it. For I am a present guy. I just want to believe in what is happening now not the future yet.

Paper money will have not that bad future and that is because there are still a lot of people that is using paper money as their payment method and that is really nice of course.
There are also a lot of people that dont even know how Bitcoin works and that is the problem of it so it has to be more popular.

At this stage paper money is more popular in compare to bitcoin, the fact is its easy to use and can be spent anywhere and it gives people feeling of easiness to use.

You are right but we are talking about the future and it will be used less more for sure because of the digitally world that is coming.
The world will be fully digital and transactions will now mostly go directly from a credit card or bank account.

To me, paper money aka fiat currency is worthless by nature. It is backed by nothing and it's worth nothing but ink and paper. You cannot feed yourself with it, you cannot exchange a piece of paper for goods. The government's magic ink does the trick.

What are you talking about? These criticisms about having no intrinsic value are exactly the same for crypto, except it's not even tangible, so it's not even worth ink and paper. And you absolutely can exchange a piece of paper for goods. It happens literally billions of times every day all over the world.

Crypto and fiat are the same in that the only reason they have value is because there are large groups of people who collectively believe that they do. They're both backed by nothing but faith that they will have value tomorrow.

Credit card is in demand at this stage, but everyone doesn't prefer to use it as majority of people don't like to have monthly debts and they will prefer to spend in cash.

Credit card is a temptation where indiscipline people will most like falls victims of bad interest rate, they think they can buy anything will credit card and their hands and in the end they are blaming themselves paying huge amount of bills.

Paper money will not have that bad future and that is because you also can see now that there are more people that is going to have some Bitcoin but it wont control the paper money.
And many people are still using their paper money as their payment method so that is not that bad and it is still also used a lot so that is nice.

I am from small town and people around me use credit card for maximum, they even don't prefer to use fiat cash for anything, and now credit cards are easily available if you are good customer of bank.

governments simply aren't interested in incorporating bitcoin. they can't deal with the fact that it is something they can't control. paper money will stay at least for another 10-20 years.

People don't really want to use digital money and goverment will not do smth like this without agreement of others. And after poll i think we will still use paper money.

Yeah people dont really use digital money cause you know, credit cards arent digital right lol.

I dont see the debate here, cause government can be involved if they passed some fincen money transmitter law which can be accepted if they wanted.

well wouldnt that be the same thing to say that bitcoin is not digital because you have to use a telephone to spend it like you have to use a credit card in order to spend your money

in my opinion in the future there will be no paper money left at all because all people will be using cryptocurrencies as they will become more and more popular at a very rapid pace

Doesn't sounds realistic, there will be certain percentage of people who will prefer to use paper money even in the future, its impossible to believe that paper money will simply disappear.

We will end up going towards a cashless society, but this will take a while. To be honest, in Dubai it pretty much is a cashless society there.
I think for America it will have to take more time since there is so much paper currency and it will take a while for it to be adopted.

I am living in Dubai since last 3 years, I haven't seen any cashless society, as whenever I need to order anything from grocery or go to local restaurant I need to pay in AED or by card.
