Traditional money in the near future will lose its function universal means of payment and will be replaced by electronic money. The main difficulty rejection of coins and banknotes lies not in the level of technology and in human psychology. In e-money has a number of advantages and disadvantages. Banks and other electronic payments, bills and small change than financial institutions are much cheaper and easier to operate. The development of e-commerce further accelerates the process of eliminating the traditional money.
In the future it could happen, I know digital currency or e-money will rule the world as it gives us the convenience to transact online, and it would be easy to trace our transaction but paper money will not be out in the circulation. But even then, you're talking about e-money in a form controlled by the government. Our economy and banking system is largely electronic already, but the control of the supply is still down top-down, from the Federal Reserve and the banking institutions it oversees. E-money is really going to be controlled and manipulated by the government. But about bitcoin if it is going to be implemented to a country they are going hard time to control it. Because of its decentralization they are going to hard to control it. agree with you, e-money is just "numeric" no more, goverment can increase or decrease the supply without no one can stop it. i think bitcoinis the real solution, decentralization and transparant, so all people can ceck each transaction.

In this way governments try to reduce the circulation of bitcoin and increasing their own country's digital currency.

Due its non control nature the government would not want something like that. And romero is right they would just create their own but to what purpose? It will be like the same as paper money.

So goverment would not let to erase the paper money,to get some crypto-currency,that they cannot even control in any way. Who needs a system that be able to managed by everyone? Most people wants freedom when it comes to their own money. And by that it means if people know that there's an existing currency(bitcoin) that makes their money avoid being under surveillance. I am sure they will use it to have safetiness with their money.

Bitcoin is the only type of currency that gives you full access what to do with your coins without being questioned by any authority. That's why I like to see bitcoin being widely used and adopted in digital means like Paypal.

It's not the point. We are talking about future of paper money here. Bitcoin can never be matched what paper money can do. And why such thinking of an idea of removing the paper money to give way for bitcoin? It's a dumb thing to think. Bitcoin is nothing without an internet so how can it deal for the usual transactions that paper money is involved??

Humanity is not ready yet for such a change, and bitcoin is too young for it.We will have something else. I think that will be bitcoin, as bitcoin is going to become more famous in the online world and going to be the master of all digital currencies. and if the governments would like to adopt any virtual currency then they will adopt bitcoin as bitcoin is ready-made currency for them and is more advanced.

Coz it has many benefits over paper money. The govt won't let it happen and that's why it won't full replace paper money
