Is it a fail? You had a great experience of trading with cost of 7 btc (what was the price when you bought it?), but also held (if that is so) these 40 btc for two years right now. Its price increased in enormous way, and getting it at low price lead to really high profits.

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

Tou wanted to quit trading because you fail? That would be an invalid reason my friend because how would you win back your loss if you will quit trading. That is just a normal thing if you are in this business because I experienced that too when I was just starting in this industry. So I can say that it is okay for you to lose money because you can always win that back if you continue trading. You need to take a risk because if you find the right strategies for you, you will get much profit than you ever thought.

With this year alone you can already make a lot of money if you are still holding it until now, bitcoin has significantly increase in the pas years and that is after it broke it's old time high during the MtGox time and the fear of the people are now replace with the eagerness to buy and be part of the most profitable investment today.

Trading requires a lot of work - it's definitely not easy money.
However, once you get the hang of it, you choose the right platform and set up a good channel for information, then trading will become easier.
Don't get me wrong, it will still take years to actually STOP losing money and slowly, occasionally, make some money.
Good luck!

I agree, trading is just not for everyone. And with the right kind of luck on your side you could make as much holding as you could with trading.

That is right mate. Trading is a skill and needs to have time and dedication to make winning trades. You need to do your share of research before even executing your first trade otherwise, you are just gambling and not really trading.

why you should quit ? Without strategy you wont earn some good money. And that is very important, otherwise you will lose it and that will be not good.

Once the markets correct to the point where they reflect fundamentals, ETH will be nowhere close to reaching the level of Bitcoin's market capitalization.

We've already tried currencies with reversible rules and adjustable inflation rates. Now the World is ready for more.

I suggest that you invest it in other currencies. At the end of the day, you are the one who will decide on how you will spend your savings.

That is not necessary because he has a great amount of bitcoin and by holding it he can already get a bigger return.
This year is a success, the price has increase significantly and this will continue in the future, at least by holding it's less hassle as you do not need to study the market actively just like traders are doing.

He has a strategy but unfortunately it does not work well so he decided to quit to cut his loses rather than continuing that might lose all his money.
Everyone has different ways and strategies, in my case I would only quit trading if I lose all my money intended for trading, it's  like setting up a bankroll in gambling, you only stop when your bankroll will be wipe out, beside you spend what you can afford to lose only.

why would you stop trading when you are still losing, 7btc is a big deal because if you are going to convert it into money it is a big amount already? why not try to wait for a few months and chill for awhile before you do trading again? anyway, trading is so much better than gambling.

I am seeing many people are very much interested with gambling on bitcoin but it's waste of time and waste of money as well. Only everything is based on the luck only. Trading is steady profit then that but bit risky. Altcoin trading is much riskier than bitcoin trading. Most altcoin are scam anyway. You cannot hold them for long term.

Just don't quit trading right? But if he did experience worst in trading and he can't take it any longer that's the time for him to decide and just quit trading. Traders who are giving up with their trading experiences are the ones that can't do it anymore. They are thinking that trading is an easy thing and worst can't happen for their desire is only to have positive result.
