Sometime stopping is the best thing you can do because trading stays risky and you can lose a lot of money with it without any doubts.
I think its good to sometimes take a break from it.

Stop when you can justify your decision, clearly trading is not for everyone as it's not easy to be successful in this venture. You must know if you have the capacity to earn in trading and then you try but the moment there is no success though you have adjust already, you should accept your defeat and quit.

Quitting is not yet the end of the world.

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't).  I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years. Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)
Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly) Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.
Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

I am sure there are some people who can be in your situation. I think the best advice is: Find someone you can trust who have a proven trading record and let that guy do the trading for you.

I do not believe in such idea, for you to learn in trading you must manage it your own and if you are not successful then simply quit trading and focus in other investments. For sure you can find a lot of opportunities here since AFAIK not only trading can give us profit.

If you are planing to quit trading do it while you are winning and earning. Maybe that sounds strange but otherwise all your efforts will be for nothing.
And you must know that loosing is also inevitable part of trading so don't that be the only reason to quit. But if you haven't found yourself in trading and you haven't got the feeling and pasion for it then is maybe better to stop.
I think it is not such a good decision to quit trading, as trading is a risk and winning and loosing money is part of trading, if you are really losing money in trading continuously then you should change your strategy but leaving trading is not such a good decision. Instead of quitting why not think about sharpening trading skills and re-start trading.

Well said, quitting trading doesn't look to be a wise decision. The reason is that regularly price variation is happening to some range. So this looks to be the proper time to make good profit. As few users suggestions if profit to the expectation is not earned can try with different strategy, as it is also a good time to experiment your strategies.

If you done quiting in trading just bring back the memories you already so much ideas from the trading and i think you should not to quot just because you lose bitcoin, Maybe it is just a new experience and you will learn alot of things by the year past just continue and you will earn more soon.

As we all read on the OP, we could say that  hes  been doing trading for almost 2 years already and  out of 47 btc  he only have 40 btc left which is  somehow  hes not  doing good trades  on past  2 years thats  why  he  decide to quit gambling  for  good  because   those past two years  is  enough already to observe your trading  and you found out  that  its not good  and you still keep lossing trades  then  its really a good idea to quit  to prevent  more  lose.
Loosing his bitcoin doesn't mean the right time to quit even his trading almost 2 years already and loosin bitcoin is really a matter if he will continue not to quit then the right time will come to him and going to a luckiest person in this world and if he decided to quit gambling too is good for him too.

Yes in fact quitting trading bitcoin is the solution, I think you should not waste the opportunity to gaining experience about such a good crypto currency, which is going to become of the most popular currency of the world, I think you should change your strategy of trading instead of quitting it.

If I were you, I would hold on to your bitcoin as long as you can because there is a good chance that itwill continue to gain value. You could cash a little out if you think that it's to risky of an investment.

He is not holding bitcoins, as OP said he quit in trading because he does not have a good outcome for almost 2 years of trading if I were not mistaken. Holding bitcoins is only for future value but there are people like traders who would like to make an active income.

if i have that money, then i will do an investment in offline and online, buy gold as my investment and still holding my bitcoin as my other investment, and the rest of my money, i will use it for my daily life. i am sure that if i choose the right investment, then i can get the profit in middle time until long time after.

its a good decision to quit trading and maybe you need to think the other jobs beside doing trading in your daily. or maybe you get boring in trading so you make decision to quit trading.

if OP'd lost the passion to trade and seems not interested anymore because he's gaining nothing for 7 years then it's not wrong to just move out from trading. maybe he's could earn more in another job instead of trading and keep holding when keep losing too. for the good of OP just grow your money anywhere which seems realistic. 40 bitcoin could make up a pretty decent business or store

Real simple, start trading here. Seriously though, maybe :
1) Invest in a gambling site, because of the house edge you'll win in the long run
2) Have a look at this post, as I'm not going to repeat something already said https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1153888.msg12165431#msg12165431

I don't just understand and didn't get it so well why some of the member here must start trading in the gambling sites though this was designed to take advantage of human weakness. Even they know there are many gambler here too but only one people can hit the jackpot out of many players in the gambling sites.

I think that you took a great decision by doing that.
Very few people learn from their mistakes and stop repeating them, because I have seen many going bankrupt just because they can't stop themselves doing trading as it becomes an addiction just like gambling.

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

Meaning you loss 7BTC, Well it will still be depend on how are you gonna use your remaining BTC. If you wanna grow it more you can continue trading on different sites. But the question is why are quitting.

I could just add that wise men learn from the mistakes of others, ordinary people learn from their own mistakes, and only fools don't learn from anything. On the other hand, people typically don't make the same mistake twice, it is usually three or more times. As Einstein once said, insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results...

And compulsive trading (just like gambling) can easily make people lose their head altogether

Did you really read and try to understand OP's post? He mentioned he quit trading because he can't give it full time. And I agree with his decision which is actually the same scenario when I quit trading.

And by the way did Avirunes paid you in your signature? I'm sorry but you don't deserve it. You are suppose to at least give it time to visit for some updates. Now you keep wearing a scam signature which was already stopped many days ago.

If I have to quit like OP, I would rather save the altcoins and also invest to the rest that i think has potential in the future. Most good coins or tokens today are getting better plans for its adoption and are also smart enough to just run on platforms. Check them out one of the best I think is ICN.

I'm not sure that altcoins would be a better option for those who had faced bitter experience with trading. Because I am also not having fruitful experience with altcoin investments and trading in long run. I had made profits with one or two altcoins but own big losses with massive dump made my previous profits get washed out.

Well, if you're out of trading because they do not have time for it, maybe it was the right reason. but, if you're out for losing, I guess it's not an excuse. Well, we've all lost trading, but, if you want to improve yourself professionally in trading, then you need to keep trying, no matter how many times you lose.
