Imagine if anyone can be an formula one driver. HEY LET'S ALL BE F1 RACERS! So we go into our new career as a professional F1 driver. Sure, all of you know how to drive a vehicle, but there are only a few people that have the mechanical aptitude to LEARN. We've all at one point entered this profession blindly, but some will highly excel at it because they most likely highly excel at everything they do in life.

I hate to break the news, but 95% of people will fail as a trader. Trading is not about intelligence.

Imagine starting a new sales job where you know nothing. The commission you make is ultimately up to how hard you work. The learning curve for any new job can be steep. Especially for trading. People who get into trading with no knowledge will lose their principle (initial investment) to experienced traders. For every winner, there's a loser. The allure of making a quick buck is one of the reasons that fuels the crypto market. It sounds easy, buy low, sell high. One million times easier said than done.

This is not a Best Buy type job where anyone can do it with a little training. No sir, this is a job that takes incredible grit, constant growth and learning, and MASSIVE EMOTIONAL DISCIPLINE to be successful.

I will guarantee 100% if you randomly pick when to buy and sell with no knowledge of what you're doing, the market will have this special way of humbling you very fast because experience traders will take every penny you put into the market. It's also like any job where your compensation is directly proportional to your performance. For trading, it's no different. The work you put in with how much you're willing to learn about the market will directly reflect how profitable you can be.

You have to have a tinkering type personality to fix, refine, and critically think. Those that ask constantly "when should i buy. what should i buy," are all sheep and will never be as fluent or successful with crypto as someone who's willing to put in the time and hard work to learn.

Check out my basic guide if you're new. Maybe it can help you. Don't ever stop learning. Keep an open mind.

It is good with the decisions you are making. However you should find ways to learn how you can manage yourself to make good decisions. The best way to do that is to find resources most especially on youtube.

Learn from some of the things they have to say and learn from the ways they trade to help you always make good decisions. Moreover, if you are going to be using youtube, check comments first before doing so cause some videos can be trashy.

With learning, you have your nerves more calm and won't end up making the same mistakes you have made in the past.

Trading is quite similar to gambling in some form of way, as you need to predict how will the price of bitcoin goes once you decided to purchase it at a certain price. Obviously in trading, you won't lose your money as fast as gambling as you can choose to hold your bitcoin in your account until the price rise to the amount which you feel comfortable to sell it away.

That is correct, after you bought bitcoin or any other altcoin in that matter, you are not still losing when the price is going down unless you sell them. But when you just keep on holding it or better yet, make a sell order targeting a certain amount of gain and forget about it, you have more chances of profiting this way than constantly checking the chart and your emotion sets in.

I am not much of a day trader but more of an investor. I see a difference. If my current investments don't work out for me then I will find another way to reach my goals. If I fail I hope others will learn from my mistakes. If i succeed I wish to show people that things can be possible even if against odds. My intent for the video was to let people follow my path as I explore this highly technical world as a none technical person. I honestly expected that people on this thread would have more faith in this whole thing.

Trade is always at risk, in some cases great. Before you start trading, you must have at least basic knowledge. I recommend that you read a lot when trading with cryptos.

If I have to quit like OP, I would rather save the altcoins and also invest to the rest that i think has potential in the future. Most good coins or tokens today are getting better plans for its adoption and are also smart enough to just run on platforms. Check them out one of the best I think is ICN.
I'm not sure that altcoins would be a better option for those who had faced bitter experience with trading. Because I am also not having fruitful experience with altcoin investments and trading in long run. I had made profits with one or two altcoins but own big losses with massive dump made my previous profits get washed out.
Why not? as far as I know altcoin is the best alternative for us to earn more, especially nowadays most ico token are now undergo in legal ways. Though there are still some of them are scam or shitcoins. Because in my experienced most of my profit was came from atlcoin trading and some of it was in signature campaign.

Maybe it is right to stop trading a bit in some times, i read a thread in another forum of people saying that they were in a loss of almost 70%, that is insane, i would quit in i were in their shoes. Imagine investing 1 btc and then have only 0.30, what a big loss, i wouldn't know what to do in that situation. Anyway, i really think that some altcoins are going to go up again, so it is a good time to buy

That depends because not all altcoins go back and rise again in the other hand if you are not a researcher or just invest in any altcoins in the market it is most likely what to happen to lose big amounts of money.
If you are not doing well in the world of business, then it is a good idea to quit trading for a while. You can have rest if you actually need a break. If you are fed up with trading, then holding is another good option. You can also go for holding your Bitcoins. I think you need to start again after a short break.

Its good to read before stepping in the real trading but its much better to experience the basic. I believe that experience will have a better thing along the way of learning instead of bringing only the knowledge in trading.

I could not agree with you more mate. learning the theory of trading is somehow easy and can be learned by anyone. However, even the most learned individual can not make it well on trading because of his/her emotions. Hence, when we couple our knowledge and skills with good experience, we can do well with our chosen cryptocurrency trading carrer.

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

I think you should continue to invest for a long term and just think as if you do not have investment and let us see what will happen to your investments after 5 years or more. You can withdraw some of it and use it for your financial needs. It is up to you what will you do with your money because If i were you would continue to invest and maybe i will put a business to have atleast continuous earning out of that money.

Trading isn't suitable with someone who doesn't have brave and skills. By the way you have to learn how to get valuable informations that can raise your balance. Most people lost in trading cause they're panic, don't follow the rules and doesn't have a good source of informations. If you have enough these features above, keep trading you will have profits for sure.

Trading is a full time job and you really need to burn mid night oil in order to be successful in trading. Trading is something that can make you rich within seconds but for that you really need to work damn hard in order to understand the basic rules and regulations of the trading. Trading can’t be learning just by watching videos or listening to veterans, it demands practice.

most of the people get into trading with bigger investment and they just invest in it without doing any experience and get loss and then they quit and said that trading is not profitable.
you first have to get experience with low invest and not be in hurry to get good profit. experience came with time and after at least 2 to 3 month you will be good enough to analyse the good coins to invest.

I agree on that, videos could not help you by means of just doing a self study towards trading techniques. Everything is a matter of decision making which you are going to deal on and the actual scenario is on a quick trades basis, which you think profitable then you sell it immediately without any hesitations. Full time jobs in trading might be so stressful sometimes, but as you are working too hard the results can be surprising anytime if you focus on it as you learn smoothly and knowledge will come your way.

Trading is not an easy business, it is as difficult as passing through the eyes of a niddle but you have to understand the market, it is not a gamble. Research is very important and listening to news. Patience is key

I don't think there is any need to learn a lot of Google articles or watch dozens of YouTube videos in order to become successful in trading. It is not very difficult.

A trader must choose the right asset like bitcoin is best for this. Then he must trust his asset. Patience is the most essential skill for a trader and key to the success. During dip, he must simply buy more and sell out when prices increase to a targeted value.
