I have a piece of artwork that was savaged in an unfortunate incident involving a small child and a pink highlighter. What I need is for someone to remove the pink highlighter marks and any crinkles in the paper as best you can. It doesn't need to be perfect, it just needs to be good enough to look ok when printed on a reasonable ink jet printer at about 8" x 5". i will give this a shot when i get home, but i just want to mention an idea here first...
after you get back all of the attempts, it may be possible to create an even higher quality fix by merging the best parts of each attempt into one image.
edit: if tehace's image above is not watermarked, wouldn't it be possible for people to *start* with that image and claim that they too have 'fixed' the image in the OP? (and get a free 0.5 BTC)?

I have made some corrections on the scan in addition to the basic background clear. * Some color correction that you have lost in the scan process. * Cleared some colour stains. * Cleare some scanning stains. * Image otimized for print on CMYK  Hope you like it! I think the pink highlighter marks make the image so much more vivid! I would say keep the highlighter marks  I am dead serious: I like the pink striped versions better then any of the cleaned ones. |

* Some color correction that you have lost in the scan process.
* Cleared some colour stains.
* Cleare some scanning stains.
* Image otimized for print on CMYK

I'm just a wandering critic. You are correct but trying to remove those will probably do more harm than good and it isn't too noticeable. |

(Have to go so don't have time to do the others, but again let me know if you like the removal and would like the others cleaned up). I also added a bit of the color back into the picture.
