Oops! I tried to reset the poll to 60/90 days, but clicked the reset button thinking that would do it. The tally was 14-20 in favor of Dank. The contest is still active, but I'll forego the voting aspect. Everything has to be double, sans the voting aspect, for Atlas or Dank to win the now $100 gift certificate.

The winner will receive, from me, a $50 gift certificate redeemable at an eating establishment close to their home of their choice. The establishment must offer gift certificates and I should be able to buy it here in Sandwich, IL, or online. An example would be Applebees.

The only other requirements is that by the end 30 days (via the time stamp when this thread stated: 30 days at 08:29:50 PM CST) when the poll ends (I did set the poll for 30 days), there must be no less than 300 votes and this thread must have no less than 300 posts expressing the poster's favorite by the end of the 30 days. Posts must be longer than the maximum character count that Twitter allows--144 characters (English).

Somebody please quote this post, locking in the rules.

I have not yet voted, but will.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

Dank is more entertaining than boring Atlas.

I don't think either one can be trusted with the knowledge that sometimes, there really is a free lunch.

Dank makes some funny threads, but Atlas is more fun to watch, as whenever he speaks, people's anuses begin to bleed.

Applebees was only a suggestion, but I think I get the gist of your post. BTW, I have voted. I was the forth voter.

Dank. I went through so many emotions with his threads: Made me laugh, angry, sad, partly crazy and Scientology.

Atlas just makes me grin in an awkward way.

dank reminds me of Atlas a year ago.  As I'm at least convinced that Atlas is a real person, I'd have to vote for Atlas.  If dank's a real person rather than an elaborate troll, then I weep for the future of humanity.

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

No idea who they are, but I did check my "ignore" list: sure enough, one of them was there. I voted for the other one, and I wish him an enjoyable meal.

They're there, in their room.

I voted for Atlas before I read the post and realized that the winner would get a free meal.  I think Dank needs the meal more than Atlas...  But, I would probably still vote for Atlas since I can't read Dank's thread anymore because it is just too stupid.

Danks avatar really looks like he could use something to eat.

Also Dank is definitely much more entertaining.

There is nothing better when you are in a bad mood than to read a little bit in Danks Bank Thread. There's always a pearl that makes me laugh in it.

So I guess the requirements weren't met?

And they were so close, too.

Let's continue this by doubling everything stated in the rules. Even pretending that this is the first post, therefore all the posts to date count toward the total.

Starting now! (see time stamp)
