Atlas calls for a good point that any changes needs to be extensively tested. A bug in calculating the new ultraprune database would cause some bitcoins to vanish and not able to be spent.

My first thought would be Atlas did it himself. He has an annoying habit of posting the "last word" and locking his threads when faced with strong opposition or when people point out flaws in his arguments that he can't counter. That's a lot more boring than making another thread about censorship though.

Down with the man!

He locked the thread. I changed the title to be less inflammatory.

Ultraprune is awesome, Atlas doesn't understand how it works. Bringing politics to a programming debate is silly.

So remind me... what was the criteria for his latest unbanning? Not to be a nutcase? Ok, just checking.

It seems he has gone voluntarily. Last post was on Tuesday.

I will not questions things any further. I submit. I am gone.
