I received 1 s7 but not working properly. With 600 frei it s not stable and do it 4550 with 0.11-0.14 error. When I try more 600 hash droped. 550 frei 4400-4500 http://prntscr.com/8nagbnAny idea ? I used 2000w server psu Well Bitmain is now selling the S7- or inferior portion of their S7 as Batch 2. You may be able to ask a partial refund for the difference because your miner does not meet the specs. Again its probably a single blade thats being suck. =/ So i'd say try 575hz since thats what the batch 2 come with at, stock.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Will not fix the problem but would be instructive to boot up with just 2 boards connected at a time and see if there is one Hash board that is throwing the HW errors? Three reboots needed dropping a different board each time. Rich

dogie, are you going to test out the S7 firmware updates and let us know the pros and cons? I'm hearing it is giving a slight improvement and less variation in hash rates but I'm leery of upgrading until I know what they might be taking away...

Tidy up your PSU cables with Modular Jumpers...(PM me) BTC Address: 1EAbq69WSa1mNKkoWraEyUfqZkcjDcCzYm No more empty Blocks!! Stop supporting the SPV Mega Pools and try Kano CKPool or solo mining at Solo CKPool

Maybe although firmware is always a tricky area. People come up with the weirdest "it did x y z blew up my machine error rate up 0.00005%" things which makes it hard to tell anyone anything of value when its drowned out by anecdotes.

Usually firmware is released to fix specific problems...does anyone know what this release addresses? Do you have any inside scoop on this one?

thanks When I bought my first AntMiner, the guy I bought it from warned me to always make sure I put a password on each worker, even if it's not required by the pool. He said he had trouble with his until he had added a password. I'm not sure if this is true...I've just always put passwords on them. Also, make sure there are no spaces at the end of the end of the worker name. I couldn't connect once and that turned out to be the problem.

Those two images don't line up, they're showing different pools to each other. Also, what PSU are you using?

Try 575mhz on the advanced settings page and go back to Antpool.

I'm looking at either getting one like yours or doubling up on a Corsair 850 modular psu (it weighs as much as a barge, I love it.). Can a single 110V 15A outlet handle this? Thanks for your help! -DM

Mine is on a DPS-2000 but that's more to do with the PSU already being on the right shelf than anything. 2x Corsair CX750Ms is the cheapest but requires 2 additional 2xmolex to PCI-E adapters. There isn't really a sensible single consumer PSU option, so 2x of whatever you can get should be okay. Can a single 110V 15A outlet handle this? Thanks for your help!
110 * 15 * 0.8 = sort of but not really. I don't think officially you should be doing that 24/7 but its your decision.

The EVGA 1600 G2 comes with at least 14 PCI-e connectors. My 1300 G2 came with many and also had some 1x6+1x6+2 pins cables too. So you should have plenty of connectors. Did you get it used? Or did you not count both 6+2 and 6 pin cables? From stock; PCIE: 9 x 8pin (6+2), 5 x 6pin = Total would be 14 connectors.
