If playing with PC then the Counter-Strike series. Nowadays CS:GO of course. Been playing since 1.4. On consoles I've loved Grand Theft Auto since GTA 3 came out. Still do, have completed V 100%.

Definitely Rome Total War.
RTW2 is little more complex and budgie sometimes but great graphic and game!

Many old games like Red Alert are unsurpassable!
Even Red Alert 2 can't match because they just use more rendering and 3d and that's it.

yes, many of older games, they were made for fun, you can feel it, now it is just marketing shit with a gimmicks, commercial BS made for bucks.
