As said above, there won't be any profit mining with a VPS. But you could actually host a game server like Minecraft or Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and then try to sell it there!

Game servers are usually very resource-intensive and most providers will not allow such programs on their VPS. You would be looking for a game server host if you're doing something like this. The latency could be quite high too.
