Imperial College London opens The Centre for Cryptocurrency Research and Engineering
The Centre for Cryptocurrency Research and Engineering has been launched by the Faculty of Engineering of the Imperial College London, following the successful Bitcoin Forum last summer, held to assess the scale of interest among students and stuff to the topic.

I just hope we don't see anymore of useless altcoin because of number of new people who will study this topic.
On a serious note, this is really great news, as serious Educational Institutions are starting to treat cryptocurrencies with respect.
