Why not trade Economics for E-cash? I always think of classrooms and theory when I read the word economics.

I have to disagree.  'Seriously' sounds unprofessional.  The truth does not need to implore or qualify itself.

Have you heard of Free-Range Kids? It's a growing movement that's controversial in the right way. Anti-busybody.

Smooth you are out of your experience zone.

And you're projecting your shame at the fork, spoon, plate comment onto the current favorite. Do you always sit on your annoyance for a week and repackage the slight as your own? Think of it as negative re-gifting. Hardly original and hardly a real criticism of this design which neither looks like a bow-tie or clover--you're reaching too hard as any group of simple symbols could be made into an object association (I would say pills in this case, maybe), but the problem with yours was that it was complex and looked more like the symbol for the food network than a design for a new age currency.

True Digital Cash.

I bless you to stick to it and finally stop this nose picking. It lasts for several months already and it looks like this is all the development done so far.

I like this last logo, but this logo does not make sense without ability for users to look on it in a dock, system tray or as desktop icon.

Keep up the great work everyone. The community industry and creative input in this thread is truly fantastic. It's great to see a community growing so rapidly and functioning in utero with demonstrable and inspiring results.

This really is an example of brilliant decentralisation in action - the way it should always be done in my opinion.

A few years from now, when Aeon is firmly established as one of the leading originals to credibly make its mark as a privacy-orientated cash alternative, this thread surely will be a permanent reminder of exactly how it was that everything came together; undeniable evidence of Aeon's humble beginnings from the fragmented leftovers of an otherwise abandoned coin. History in the making.

Sure it is easy to be an armchair critic, and there will always be a certain contingent that demand a fully-finished product while not themselves offering any strategy, man-power or constructive contribution as to how this can be achieved. Let these voices serve as a useful counterpoint however, that even any idea is better than no idea at all.

Consideration of brand, graphic, conceptual connection with common user and all other associated aesthetics, is as fundamentally important to the survivability of a project as the very underlying code itself. Dogecoin is a perfect example of how even a horrendously flawed piece of code, injected with a dose of genius branding over the top, can lead to the construction of a global social and economic movement that continues to evolve even to this day.

So continue to thrive, design, speculate, contemplate, constructively criticise, outright reject, redesign, reconsider, revise, surmise, perfect, conclude, mediate and meditate.

This is Aeon, and this is what we do.

I also nominate True Digital Cash.  It's elegant and efficiently describes what Aeon is/does without pontificating.

I like Anonymous E-cash or True Digital Cash better the term blockchain speaks mostly to those in this arena and many of them know that Aeon is untraceable already and if not they will find out soon after and at that point it's not better than True Digital Cash or Anonymous E-cash. True digital cash has a larger audience. Also the blockchain is tracable, I found it through this thread  Smiley

Apart from this if you're also looking for a slogan - none of these are slogans.
