AEON use case is same as Monero. If opaque ledger cryptocurrencies will prevail, then AEON will have much higher marketcap and will do perfectly fine.  If something bad happen to Monero and AEON have few things different then Monero have and I am sure will have more in the future, then AEON will super moon. That is how I see it.

Aeon also has a slimmer blockchain than Monero and it will continue to be slimmer because RingCT code was not activated. This might not appear as an advantage at present, however, it will certainly be different after 5 years hehehe.

I would not begin to think or assume that there are vulnerabilities on RingCT on Monero. The Monero developers stand with the best in the cryptospace.

The advantage of not activating RingCT in Aeon is for the blockchain to remain smaller and more manageable. This advantage will be witnessed in 5 years, I reckon.

I'd say both. The possibility of a vulnerability in RingCT is very low but not zero. The possibility that the higher cost becomes unwieldy and impairs usage is also meaningful. I don't know if it is low or moderate (I wouldn't consider it high).

Conversely the possibility that impaired privacy/fungibility without RingCT becomes a problem is also meaningful.

That number is probably more accurate if you assume no changes in usage (though I think that's a bad assumption).

I assume the percentage of block bloat might grow exponentially while transaction volume grows? It might be the best decision to leave RingCT inactivated, I reckon hehehe.

Lightweightedness for cryptonote is very undervalued and a very underestimated feature needed for adoption.

This example means that aeons effectiveness of a small lightweight blockchain would gradually become Inefficient and aeon would become “just be another Cryptonote fork” like all the other forks. Having a small efficient blockchain and sha3 allows aeon to stand out from all of the other CN/Monero forks. Something almost no other project has the ability to do since most just copy paste everything monero does and slap a different name on it.

@everyone. Aeon support and resistance range is on 3000 sats and 10k sats. This is a wide accumulation range, however, when the bear market has ended, Aeon can certainly pump to 50k sats very easily.

I am only speculating hehehe.
