Yep. It can be very annoying. There are people who scam for as little as 0.01 BTC, and when it's clear that he scammed, he comes back to the thread, saying "my balls, your face".

Real lowlife scumbags, here. And lots of very intelligent, friendly users. Both at the same place. I always imagine this board as a kind of representation of our society, but somewhat more extreme. That's because of money being involved.

If you're here for the tech, and for Bitcoin itself, I almost recommend staying out of trading at all. It's sad, but the chances of getting scammed are higher than anywhere else.
And if you desperately want to trade here, try to pick one of the old members with very high reputation. But even that's far from a guarantee of not getting scammed.
