Not recomended to barrow money for gambling
You know gambling is very risk to lost your money.

I think you can borrow it from your friend or may be some family and try your luck, its ok to do this only when you can afford to lose it. Sometimes people dont want to try using their own money. Using people money is better but remember give some tips to them when you are making profit

I'm affraid to do it. I never tried borrow money for gambling
Because i know gambling high risk.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Borrow money, go bet or roll dice and u'll have for urself and u'll give back. EASY MONEY! Thats how i do it!
I highly suggest you should stop that , that's not easy money. If you'll continue doing that, you'll probably end up broke and have a lot of unpaid debts. Roll Eyes
Lol i think if he still doing that as he sell his house and lot ,accessories and even his body to have a money to play it in gambling. so in the end bankrupt..

That I think will be too much. Cmon, selling everything for gambling? that is addiction in its highest level or gambling. In can also be called sickness.

Nah it's not too much, it's just normal for gambling addicts Cheesy I've heard they also do gamble with their properties as their bet. It's probably a mental problem (I think addiction is considered as a mental disorder  Grin )

That is a very good thinking and do not ever try to borrow money for gambling. Gambling should be good only if you gamble with your small amount just for fun and if you win any amount just go out and enjoy don't use that money again to win some more. But many people will not stop so they continue until they lose all the money and start borrowing money for gambling.

Or maybe they have enough source of income and they know that they'll be able to return the money at the start of the new month. Its not always that money borrowers are doing it for fulfilling their addiction, money can also be borrowed for fun.

What you said may be correct but this discussion is about borrowing money for gambling.

strongly NO!

Yes who ever addicted then they always thinking to recover their loses where they have lost it so after losing all their money they will think borrow some money and get back their loses but usually it happens other way. They may lose even borrowed money and go to worst position so it is not good to lend for gamblers.

I disagree with you man. Not all people who borrow money for gambling were all addicted, maybe they are just short in funds and they want to gamble on a certain game with an event or a promotion or something. One good is example is on sports betting, a friend of mine used to borrow from me when there's a certain game that one of his favorite team is playing and he doesn't want to missed that game
He was short in funds back then so he just borrowed on me to bet on his fave team, fortunately he won and he repaid the loan right away with some tip Cheesy Lastly, he's not addicted, he only bet when PBA season starts

If he lose then he will ask for other loans (maybe double amount from the previous) and then do the same thing bet all in with a hope to win. If still lose he will ask for loan again, and it will be a martingale on loan  Grin

As long as someone is funding them or lending them money to continue playing, they will not stop. I've heard of gamblers staying in Casinos longer than their stay in their homes. Gambling is OK if it's for entertainment but addiction to gambling is another story.

That's unfortunately how it goes for a lot of people, and it sucks. Gambling addiction does ruin a lot of lives, and I don't see why someone gambling with Bitcoin instead of fiat should change this or make it impossible. I've seen a lot of people lose a lot of money and deeply regret it.

The first thing that I can say people gambling using bitcoin because the bitcoin is easy and instant. Ever online thing is good thats why people choose online rather than using fiat directly. Gambling addiction actually depends on yourselves and no one can't control you if you can hold just for a while it will be a great success

Yup! I agree with you, addiction in gambling will only continue if someone is funding him money to gamble,

panjul07 maybe you had someone you know then you are giving him money just to gamble then you are not helping in his addiction it could only gets worse!

It depends a lot on the situation.

Here are some poor examples:

Do you give an alcoholic beer?  Do you give a drug addict drugs?  I am hoping you guys answer no to this.

However, if it is your friend and he is not addicted, do you give him beer, probably, do you give him drugs, maybe if you are into that sort of thing, could you borrow them money to gamble, sure why not.  If it isn't a problem then go ahead and do it just monitor the situation.

I think there is no guarantee that the borrower could refund and repay the amount borrowed if he will use this amount only in gambling. Because as known it's a game, and he can simply lose this amount in gambling, if he haven't other solid source to fund his wallet again there isn't possibility to repaying this borrowed amount

That's why there always should be collateral, if you lend without collateral there's a bigger chance that you will get scammed, or they will run off with the money or lose it all, etc.

Some lenders are willing to take a risk, so they lend without collateral in the hope that they can get more profit from interest as more people will want to borrow from them, as collateral is not required, but I don't think that it's a good idea.

If I have to lend, collateral is always required. Its actually a good business here in bitcointalk as you gain without doing much work. As long as I will just lend to those who have been in the forum for a long time and they seem don't have a negative trust. I don't mind if they use it to play dice or poker.

What you said it purely business point of view and it is correct if one lending money for making profit then no issue to lend any one with proper collateral. But most of the gamblers will not tell the correct reason also so we shouldn't lend money to any one without a collateral. Only very high trusted members can give loan without collateral.

I think this is the only rule that makes gambling wrong for me, it's where you cross that invisible and dangerous line.
