it's probably the old trick of paypal + ebay + low price + chargeback, nothing new

simply avoid those temptation, they are the same way as a ponzi if not worse

If I can get coins direct from miners at 100/150 that's a small profit margin of around $80/100.
So if you decide to become a trader on faxful or other exchange, seems an interesting way to return a profit?

OP. Do you avoid to link to the ebay auction, because you want these cheap Bitcoins for yourself???
No I avoided the link because it looks to good to be true, wanted to hear what other bitcoiners thought.
If I knew it was legit I'd probably have bought several, and have a future source for my trading services.
The seller knows I contacted them twice, ebay's automated email notifications, no one has replied.

If you post the link, me and a lot of others are able to tell you 100%, wether this is fake or not.
By just having the info, that someone is selling Bitcoins for a 1/4 the official price, it is fake 99%.
Btw. I can't find this offer (1BTC for 40$) on ebay, so it seems, that it doesn't exist anyway.

Bitcoin is not a bubble, it's the pin!

.1 Bitcoin for deposit to the wallet of your choice.

That's the listing's title.

.1 Bitcoin that we have mined deposited to the wallet of your choice.  You will be receiving a paper wallet in the mail with the amount you purchased on it.  You can then sweep it into the wallet of your choice.  I will only ship to paypal verified addresses. This is a mining contract for time spent mining. Buyer to have minimum Ebay feedback of 10 and be PayPal verified. Bitcoin will be sent 24 hours after clearing of payment from PayPal which is 48 to 72 hours. You will be receiving a paper wallet in the mail with the amount you purchased on it.  You can then sweep it into the wallet of your choice.  I will only ship to paypal verified addresses.  This is to protect us both.  No refunds.

am I the only person here who sees the dot before the one?

.1 means 0.1 right or in other languages .1 means 1 ?!!!

That exactly. He's selling 0.1 (1/10th) btc worth 24$ for roughly twice the price hoping that the buyer misses to see the dot infront of the 1 and think hes purchasing 1 (a full) btc.
No chargebacks and stuff, and if you want to complain, you aint got a chance, since its clearly written there, you will recieve .1 btc

As always, If its looking to good to be true, it isnt.

.1 Bitcoin for deposit to the wallet of your choice.

US $60.00
Approximately EUR 53.21

Postage: US $5.00 (approx. EUR 4.43)

9 sold.
Buyers info seems to be private, so i can't look at reviews.

I am confused!
is he selling a paper wallet which contains 0.1BTC (which is worth $23) for $60 ?
is it right or am I reading this wrong?

He is selling an empty paper wallet.

No, he is selling 0.1 but he didn't put the 0 in a front, he has listed only .1 so if you are in a hurry and you are not paying an attention or you don't know too much about Bitcoin you would get screwed. He has also put a title very in a very smart way, so you would have this dot omitted.

So he is basically listing 0.1 for double the price. It should be max $30 and he is charging it $60. A very smart scam if you ask me.

Just be grateful you're not one of the 1,934 (and counting) who've bought 1mBTC for $99.00 USD

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Bitcoin-100-Secure-1-mBTC-/321834836885?hash=item4aeed9e395 and only 23 game enough to give feedback...

(yes, $99 not 99cents...) Definitely a scammer - buyer beware!

Weird. The feedbacks provided are for 99 cent sales. Either the seller is parking the listing which they often do and stick a stupid price on there to discourage actual sales or they realised just how stupid Ebay users can be.

I hadn't thought of that - must be "out of stock" or something...

I've seen these on ebay - quite a few. Thehy just sell BTC at inflated prices. Although not a scam (usually), it's a price gouge.

I could sell .1 BTC for $50 and make ~$270 profit.
