Yeah, I believed that the chances of Medvedev are high in this tournaments and it's him against Alcaraz. So with that said, I have Medvedev by a point spread, -3.5 against Hurkacz, just a medium bet.

Same with Alcaraz, -4.5 with another medium bet. And I think either one of them will be the champion here, just too bad that they will have to face into the semis if both of them win against their respective opponents.

The focus now has to go to Alcaraz for at least the final.

Hurkacz won out of nowhere against Medvedev and now he saved Djokovic. Djokovic will still remain first in the world for a few more weeks. Also Medvedev didnt look really good on the field ,he looked a little sick,he even called a medical timeout and in the second set it could have been seen how he was moving

I wouldn't say it's out of nowhere. Hurkacz won the title in Miami next year and he still has not lost a game this year in single or double in Miami. That is quite impressive run for any player on a tournament. There must be something that really works for him here in Miami. Medvedev was really struggling with his fitness or some injury today. Looked totally deflated between the points.

I lost my bet it was more of an impulse bet just to make it more interesting too watch. I don't bet big on these tournaments that have lots of the matches trough the night in my time zone. Tennis is momentum sport and I never feel comfortable to bet big on players I did not see yet play on that tournament.

Meanwhile in female tournament, Naomi Osaka has won against Bencic in three set and she will play the final!

I was able to bet at @1.50, but the odds during the second set were much higher (@2 up to 2.30).
It was not easy at all, because the first set was a loss and in third set (first games) she has lost the chance for several break point...

Lost some today, I didn't see the match, but by the looks of the score, it seems that Medvedev did struggle in this game and there's no control as I would say that Hurkacz is the better player that night.

Alcaraz and Kecmanović game extended to three sets, I wasn't able to bet in this game. But let see me, I will do some live betting and throw some sats.

True, I think Alcaraz is still going to be the favorite against, Hurkacz. Medvedev though, do you guys think that he has pressure on his shoulder as he is climbing to the ranks? He didn't win in the Sunshine tournament, and specially against Hurkacz, he could have a good chance specially when he comes back in the first set only to fall into the tie break. But in the second set, he was totally dominated. So it could have been a mental issue for him right now.

He did say in the post match interview that he thought the heat had affected him
and that he was struggling with it. Its hard to know with Medvedev or any player
really which goals are more important than others, maybe there are multiple goals
with equal importance, IDK. Is there pressure on Medvedev for the #1 spot

I'm betting on Swiatek, I think she is the stronger of the two ATM and I think
Osaka is still very emotional which could be her downfall if things get in top of her.
Its fantastic to see her back in a final but today I'll bet with the stronger player.

They are in a contrasting style, Osaka more or her power and the groundstroke game, but I think Swiatek can offset it with her accuracy. It could go to three sets though, but eventually Swiatek will came out the winner.

Alcaraz v Ruud - It has to be Alcaraz and thats where my $'s and Satoshi's are placed,
the guy seems to be getting stronger with every tournament. He has only dropped
one set this tournament and despatched Tsitsipas easily enough.

I watched Ruud vs. Cerundalo and it was quite bad performance from both players. Even though result looks convincing for Ruud in the end he was not very good at that match and made a lot of unforced errors. If he does not play couple of orders better in the final he will lose with maybe just 2 or 3 games to his name.

My money is also on Alcaraz, I just hope the odds will be good but I doubt it. Never like to place bets for future. I always bet just a couple of hours before it starts to have maximum info.

A new tennis star seems to have been born.
I like his games, and even more his attitude and work ethic.
It reminds me of Nadal at his age.
The old stars are at the end of their careers, and Alcaraz looks like a future great tennis champion. What do you think?
It seems to me that the new generation is definitely ready to take over the top of world tennis from Nadal and Djokovic.
