In the men side, I was not surprised, Djokovic is really playing very good so I wouldn't be surprised if he will win the AO this year.

I was actually surprised how good was Federer in this match. After seeing him having so much problems against Milman and Sandgren I expected a very easy match and win for Djokovic. Yes, Djokovic won in 3 sets but first set should have gone on Federer side and then who knows. He was better player though whole set and could/should have finished it sooner. In the end Djokovic has once again done what he does best on the tour, grind his opponents until they lose belief and then finish them off.

Ouch, the last of hte Australian hope is gone, yes women tennis is very unpredictable, but I was very surprised to see Barty loss in a straight set like this. What's more shocking is that she led 3-1 lead in the second set, however, she just crumble and let Kenin take over.

I'm watched women's singles semis and all the result is very surprising, Tennis fan favored Barthy vs Halep on Final but the result is different. Kenin is outstanding she can maintain her performance well and Muguruza got more spirit from her new coach C. Martinez. My prediction Muguruza will win the Trophy.

Right, I think we need to put an emphasized here that Federer is not feeling very well and is nursing an hamstring injury here, but he has to climb back and beat the likes of Mlllman and Sandgren. So props for Roger, he could have won the first set though, but it seems that the injury is taking a toll on his body. His mind is still in the match, but at his age, it's not enough to be mentally though, you needed a reliable body in which he doesn't have at this point of his career.

Yes, I too wanted Barty to be in the finals for this years AO. Make Australians proud if she are going to win. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be, its sad but for sure those two ladies are going to fight hard.

Thiem got the final ticket with 3-1 but Zverev tried at the beginning of the game and I'm surprised he lost to Thiem cause the winning odds are already against him before the start of todays tournament.

I can agree with you. Djokovic is the favorite to win the title ones more but Thiem will deliver a good fight. He really progressed the last couple of years, it will only be a matter of time when Thiem will win his first grand slam.

Today I watch second semi final now feeling its not easy for Djokovic to face Thiem as he is one or most solid rising players very disciplined and cool mind he can replace top the god fathers of tennis in near future just matter of time.

What I'm most impressed with Thiem is that he has come a long way on hard courts as he is a very good clay court player so I really hope that he can win his first grand slam and put a stop to Djokovic's dominance at winning the AO.

It will really be an upset if we see the like of Thiem winning his AO against Djokovic.

I like to see guys like Thiem winning grand slam this year and this could be the start of the changing of the guards in the tennis world. If he can accomplished it, he will somewhat be an inspiration to other upcoming players to really push themselves to challenges Djokovic, Nadal and Federer. So lets see if he can accomplished this feat in 2020.

He has been close a couple of times at the French Open but both those times it was against the king of clay Nadal. What I'm most impressed with Thiem is that he has come a long way on hard courts as he is a very good clay court player so I really hope that he can win his first grand slam and put a stop to Djokovic's dominance at winning the AO.

It will be a hard fought game if ever Thiem can overcome Djokovic is AO this year. Me as well are hoping to see fresh new blood raising a Grand Slam trophy this year, and if there is someone that can dethrone Djokovic, Thiem's name will easily come into the discussion.

It's going to be a good match for sure, I would like to see a back and forth match and a five setter, hard and grind and both of them not willing to give an inch.

"Big 3", Djokovic,  Nadal and Federer are getting order and soon or later new and young players will take over and replace them.
Thiem already was very close twice with Nadal in Paris,  Medvedev was very close in America last year,  Tsipras and Zverev are also very good and writing for the their chance etc.
It's just question of time.
I still feel that Djokovic have more chances to win in the final tomorrow ( based on his experience mostly ) but I think this year we will see real change in the top and new generation of players will show what they know.
They just need more confidence and experience.

This is probably first time I am watching Kenin play her whole match and I must say she is a complete player. She has a solid serve, strong backhand and forehand and even mixes nicely with some short balls and lobs. I will probably favor her heavily in the coming tournaments if she keeps this level of form. It is 1:1 in the sets and we have a really good 3rd set developing. Kenin just saved few break balls with great shot selections.

Yes, the women side are hard to predict these days but i expected Kenin to win todays final because she has once beaten Muguruza the same point at the Beijing tournament.
Speaking of Serena Williams, he really tried for top the women tennis for years and she's a mum now and no longer getting young either.

Yeah, Kenin deserves to win this years Australian Open, Muguruza has nothing to offer after Kenin take the second set. Youngest American to win a women's grand slam since Serena. I'm sure the ladies are going to be very very unpredictable this year (again) win Kenin entering the picture.

I agree, I was also very impressed with here, solid serve and heavy backhand and forehand. She was a thing to behold and I wouldn't be surprised if he can duplicate her winnings here in other upcoming Grand Slams tournament this year. Good run for Muruguza I can only hope as well that this is like a second win for her career.

Now all eyes are on the men, tough to see who will win but I think Djokovic will have a slight edge as the match goes on, so let's see.

I'm hoping to see a fresh new face win the Men's AO and a grand slam as its been Federer, Nadal and Djokovic for years now winning all the grand slams so hopefully Thiem can change this. On the Women's side we have seen 7 different grand slam winners and again last night a new grand slam winner in Kenin winning. I had a small bet on Muguruza on FreeBitcoin site when she was at $30 odds so I was hoping that she would win but I hedged my bet on the others 2 days ago so I broke even. Kenin has a lot of fight in her and she never gives up, she kind of reminds me how Nadal plays as he is another one that never gives up. I'm hoping for a good final tonight and hopefully Thiem can push Djokovic and I hope it goes the distance 5 sets.

Congrats to Kenin, reminds of a young Maria Sharapova, (you guys agree with me?) very competitive. She did lost the first set and I thought that Muguruza will take home the trophy. But Kenin who is really determine come back strong in the 2nd and 3rd set. And I would agree that we're really seeing new women champion for this years grand slam.

Men's final is starting as I write this. Looking forward to seeing some world class tennis, I missed most of the matches on AO since it is played during my night and work hours but at least the final falls on Sunday morning so I can watch uninterrupted Bets are made, food is prepared, wife and kid are out shopping and now I just need Thiem to take at least one set to make my morning profitable or at least cover the loses from probable shopping spree.
