It's ATP Queen's time.
Paire-Murray's a match valid for the first round of the ATP Queen's tournament in London.
Today he comes in as 124th in the world and with zero matches played on grass in the last three years. Yet Andy Murray's name appears several times in the roll of honour of the Queen's tournament in London. The Scot, in the course of his extraordinary career, has won it on five occasions. Each one to the roaring applause of the home crowd, which has always had a soft spot for its favorite. A bit like at Wimbledon, the Slam that crowned Murray king of London and of the green surface in 2013 and 2016, two magical years for the Glasgow tennis player.
Murray should prevail in three sets against the unpredictable Paire, who arrives in London with the uninspiring record of 15 losses and two wins in 2021. The total games could be at least 24.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Murray

As a UK tennis fan, I'm really glad to see him back Smiley
And it's nice to see he's taken the first set vs Paire. But it will be extremely difficult for him to return to his old level, winning slams and sometimes beating the likes of Djokovic and Federer.
I'm sure he knows that, too, but the fact that he has put so much work in over the last few years just to be able to play professional games again shows just how much he loves tennis.
I wish him all the best.

It's ATP Queen's time.
Paire-Murray's a match valid for the first round of the ATP Queen's tournament in London.

Meanwhile Federer plays in the tournament in Halle, a tournament which he already won 10 times. In his first match against the belarussian Ilya Ivashka he had a pretty hard time but in the end he won in 2-0 sets with 7:6 (7:4) and 7:5. That was Federers first grass match since the wimbledon final of 2019 so almost two years. In this shape i can't see him reach the final of wimbledon again but i guess this would also be to much to ask as he was out for more than a year and he is already 39 years old. In Halle his hardest opponents for the title will probably be Zverev, Medvedev and rublev. I hope he stays fit.

What a comeback from Djokovic! Tsitsipas has started the final game superly and brought the score to 2-0 very quickly. But after that, Djokovic started gathering himself up. He destroyed Tsitsipas (6-3, 6-2, 6-4) and made an insane comeback. I think both players were really awesome today. And Djokovic got a deserved victory and title.
we've seen Djokovic make a lot of comebacks, some were against Roger Federer, Nole has the ability to comeback since he does not give up and he has the sills for it as well, i am not surprised to see him doing it again in the same tournament after the match against Musseti, he deserved to win the title 100% even though i am a Rafael Nadal fan.

It feels like Djokovic does it on purpose. Out of a sudden it becomes clear that he is going to destroy his opponent. When he was 0-2 back, I had a call with a friend and I said Djokovic is going to win it 100%. I know we all love Roger the most, but I believe Djokovic is the best player we have ever seen. That guy is a beast!

I think we have that kind of discussion in the previous days, that somewhat Djokovic takes a dive purposely and then turn himself on like a beast mode, just like what we have witnessed here.

Definitely, Djokovic is the greatest now, and if he can surpassed Roger's number then he will be on top of the list now. But nothing to be ashamed for Tsitsipas, he gave everything, but the mental toughness is the big difference here.

I also just heard that Tsitsipas found out 5 minutes before the game that his grandma died. I don't know how much such an event affects these professionals, but I don't think it helped.

I have no idea who is supposed to stop Djokovic in Wimbledon. I am pretty sure he will tie the number grand slam titles with Nadal and Federer.

I think we can expect another record to be broken.Djokovic too win all 4 grand slams in the same year.He is unstoppoble and this is his tournament now
He has all slams 2 now at least next year he can have all of them at 3.I think by the end of the year he will have 21 titles if something shockingly dosent happen

Maybe the only one that can defeat Djokovic, is himself. Remember the US Open of last year where he got disqualified.

Maybe Federer is still not 100% in shape after his injury, grass is his favorite so if he struggles in his first match, then it could be a sign that he might not last in this tournament. Father time is really catching up on him, he is the oldest of the big 3 so I will assume that he will be the first to retire. Hopefully he can still win some tournaments, grands slams will be difficult though.

It could have affected Tsitsipas emotionally, the fact that Greek families are tie-knit, I couldn't imagine what on Tsitsipas mind going into the finals with Djokovic. It could have been a fitting gift if he won. Anyhow, for sure he might used the passing of his grandma as motivation, to strive hard and win bigger tournaments.

For Djokovic, as he said, he is the new generation of tennis, so for sure he has accepted the challenge from this young players and wanted to keep his number one spot for as long as he can.

ATP Tour
Federer cannot currently be in an optimal physical situation. Moreover, the player he's about to face is certainly more formidable than Ivashka. Although he's the favorite, the twenty times winner of Slam tests will have to be careful: he could lose a set and win only in the third.
The one against Félix Auger Aliassime will be an interesting generational confrontation. The Canadian is one of the most interesting young players in the circuit, he comes from a brilliant victory against the fearsome Hubert Hurkacz and will probably propose more than one challenge to his illustrious opponent. Will see.

Brilliant "Generational Confrontation" !

and thats what it is, a young rising star facing off against a legend of the sport who
has won everything. As yet in relation to Grand Slams we havent seen the younger
generation threatening the old establishment, Federer could potentially be the
first to fall victim to the young guns. Very interesting match up, I think Federer
will survive this match up!

^^ Unfortunately, Federer didn't survived, he won the first set, 6-4, but he can't sustained the momentum, as Felix won the next 2 sets. So another early exit for Roger here. Big win for the Canadian, their first career meeting and he is 1-0 now against Federer.

At least Roger though is slowly getting in his favourite tennis surface. Probably preparing himself for the Wimbledon or even the US Open.

Also Federer was quite disappointing today in Halle on gras. He lost quite convincingly, being behind 1 to 5 in the third set. He still has his moments but I think now it is more and more a question of fitness. I still believe he could win maybe 1 set against Djokovic in Wimbledon, but he will never be able to go the full distance and win. He won't win against Djokovic 3 to 0 either. Wink Perhaps the audience helps a bit, but he is just about 40 years old.

Yes unfortunatly federer performance became weak these last couple of years and he is not able to get to the advanced rounds and he lose frequantly and in grass were he used to be very strong i think its time for him to retire but i think he will play in wimbeldon it will be some kind of retribution.

It's understandable that he is getting weak, and if you have followed him, he started this whole sabbatical thingy in tennis. He will just carefully choosing which tournaments he enter because he knows that his body his giving up. And then we have him injuring himself in the last 2 years or so.

Yes, good to see Felix, have him in my radar for the last 2 years and I think this young player will be great in the next 3-5 years.

@Kemarit I totally agree with your views because I too don’t see Federer pulling out of Wimbledon, as probably it’s his last tournament. Furthermore he won’t win it because he’s way past his prime, but at least he’ll get a well deserved farewell.

Felix will be facing Giron next, who beat J Struff. So I think this will be a good match. Giron also beat a good player in Struff and we can call it an upset. But I think with Felix win against Federer, he will beat Giron here.

We also have Zverev vs Humbert, I have Zverev winning in 2 straight sets.

Nadal just said on his twitter that he wont be playing on wimbledon and in the olympic games!

This is what he said:

Hi all, I have decided not to participate at this year’s Championships at Wimbledon and the Olympic Games in Tokyo. It’s never an easy decision to take but after listening to my body and discuss it with my team I understand that it is the right decision

We also have Zverev vs Humbert, I have Zverev winning in 2 straight sets.

So two big upset winners coming to face each other, the odds should be with Felix I guess, money on Felix + Zverev straight sets maybe the "safe" option,,, but I think I stay off betting on this tourney, did not do well in the last one. Wimbledon towards the finals maybe is better picking if we get another crazy outing from Djokovic:)

It seems to me that we no longer have a ''big three'' but a ''big two'', Djokovic and Nadal.
Federer has not been at the level of these two players for a very long time.
Young tennis hopefuls, Thiem, Tsitsipas, Zverev but probably Medvedev and others, will soon take over the top of world tennis, Nadal and Djokovic are getting older and biology is working against them.
Still, I expect Nadal and Djokovic to dominate for at least another year or two because they are still psychologically stronger and better than young players.

Federer's injury I think has not really ever gone away at least from the way you see him play he does not seem to pull back as much as before but you are right,,, I think the Big 3 era is slowly Big 2, and hope to see even women's tennis get a big revival because Osaka is the hope from that side now Williams era is done with.

Experience can still win a little more but Tsitsipas I hope got a lot of lessons from this final:)

In the women's competition, we haven't had a tennis player for a long time who would dominate like Serena did a few years ago.
Osaka came closest to Serena but she is obviously not yet psychologically at the required level and for this reason she withdrew from the GS competition in Paris.
If she overcomes these problems, she will be the new Serena, the new great champion.
In the men’s competition I think Djokovic will be fighting this year to win all the GS and Olympic gold and it’s really hard to say who can stop him?
Probably only Nadal because it seems to me that Thiem, Tsitsipas, Zverev, Medvedev and others do not yet have the necessary experience and psychological stability needed to oppose Djokovic and defeat him.
