James Duckworth, who won his first match after his opponent Gabriel Diallo retired in the second set, has never reached the third round at Roland Garros in his career. Young talent Rafael Jodar, who has arrived in top form and made a very smooth start to the tournament, could knock Duckworth out again before he even reaches the third round. Jodar, who has risen to No. 29 in the rankings, has a game perfectly suited for clay, which could lead him to an easy victory.

Sinner will face Cerundolo that has been one of the few players that has beaten the number 1 ATP. (Roma Internazionali 3 years ago).
Not the best time for meeting him but it's essential as opponent, a good test, probably he just one of the few that can create issues for reaching the final.
A long match (like 5 sets) could be not the best for the Italian... Lets see what will come next..

Roland Garros is not looking good, as this was a few years back, but still surprises are coming. Medvedev is gone now. Sinner has interesting game odds for Cerundolo at 27, but I have a different mind for this game. Going over 25.5 is looking better with odds at 1.60.

Rublev is already in the third round his fourth-round game is against Djokovic. Spanish new kid Jodar is also doing a good job and has won. Currently, Thomas Paul has already won the first set, while Zverev is having a good start to his game.

In WTA, only one game is underway right now. WTA No. 8 Andreeva, after losing the first set against WTA No. 175 Bassols, is trying to fight back in the second set.

Your prediction is already correct. Currently, the match enters into the 5th set. After winning the first 2 sets, he lost the 3rd and 4th. This is going to be deeply troubling for him because he is not feeling good.

The Argentinian is doing a good job and having good resistance. 5th set, first game break for Cerundolo. Can he hold and have this match now? It's going to be one of the best games after this today.

Only one big game: Shelton is going to entertain Collignon if his body will help him then surely he is also going to have a good time against World No. 5 in this match.

This is one hell of a prediction, the odds for Sinner to win the moneyline were 1.01, as he was the favorite to win the entire tournament and I was expecting to win this match easily. The match is live, and while Sinner won the first two sets, he lost the next two and is now struggling in the 5th set,. He has already lost the first 2 games and possibly the third, huge upset is incoming.  Roll Eyes

Edit: I could not believe that Juan Cerundolo won the match against Jannik Sinner after losing the first two sets.

I would consider 3 main factors.
One is related numbers... Sinner streak win has become "unreal"... mathematically he has to lose a match at a certain point.
Two that could be linked to the first one... many matches/tournament
Third the opponent Cerundolo... he is a strong player on this surface + has an impressive resistance (and I have noticed him beating many top players...)
(right now 5th set at 4-0 for Argentinian player)

Jannik Sinner is out of Roland Garros. It's amazing stuff from Cerundolo. He was on top of the game after winning the first 2 sets. What a comeback by Cerundolo  with the score of 7-5, 6-1, 6-1. Now this title is wide open. Who could be the winner? It's interesting because Medvedev is already out, and now Sinner is also gone.
The Italian completely failed to hold his nerves in this challenging game against the Argentinian after winning 2 sets. I was expecting he was going to have an easy win with the score of 3-0, but it ended on 2-3. What an upset in this Grand Slam where Alcaraz was already out! Now tennis is heading for new winners.

Amazing win by Juan Manuel Cerúndolo to beat Sinner after being down 2-0 to start the match.
His odds to win the entire thing are now about 20.0 if anyone thinks he can keep this momentum going.

It was not really "a surprise" at least to me as fan of Sinner. But anyway well done. Next year he can win, I would pay attention to this (likewise he has win Internazionali of Roma for first year only in 2026).
Its a good question to see who will get this spot as final winner... but on my view (even if it sounds impossible) see Djokovic get another slam would be great to view Wink

Did you guys actually see the Sinner match? The way these comments sound like Cerundulo made a great comeback, yet that not even half the truth  Cheesy.
Sinner was just walking dead. Being up 2:0 and 5:1 he his body totally gave up. Actually kudos to him not forefitting the match and still trying to somehow bring it over the finish line, but he had 0 energy was was close to collapsing. All Cerundulo had to do is return the fairly easy to catch hits Sinner made and let him run to get him exhausted even more.

Betfair had max odds of 1000:1 before this happened, not even close to the 20x odds some mainstream bookies are displaying.

Before the match, @bitbollo gave his view about this match, and this was perfect because Juan Manuel Cerúndolo is a strong player and he did an impressive job after losing the first two sets. While I was watching this game after the first two sets, I was feeling Sinner was going to win easily with no loss in any set. I switched off and went outside.
After some time, I checked again, and these were the last few games where Argentinian was on the brink of winning and Sinner was looking so tired. It's really one of the best games of this event, with after going down 2-0, having a win has never been easy for anyone to win against the world no. 1. Great win!
Now, who will win? It's a big question, with few who are good but not consistent.

Novak Djokovic needs to overcome the day match today. It is not easy to play under the sun as everyone has been struggling during the day match due to severe heatwave. Alexander Zverev is the favorite to win, and there is no day schedule for him, which is an advantage.

Jannik Sinner and Taylor Fritz struggled during their day matches and lost, and Daniil Medvedev could not adjust to the court conditions as the court conditions, which changed due to the weather.

He was on top of the game after losing the first 2 sets.

LOL, this phrase truly stands out, top of the game after losing the first 2 sets. He had no chance at all, also not in the 3rd set where he was down 5:1 . 5:1 man, against the number one in the world. He only came back because Sinner's body totally gave up and he was close to a collapse. Couldn't run, couldn't hit hard, couldn't serve properly. That's why this match ended the way it ended.

Top of the game, hilarious.

I see that Djokovic has lost. The surprises continue at Roland Garros. It's the first time in his career that Djokovic has lost a match after going up 2-0. His age is starting to show now. Maybe it's finally time for retirement. He already proved that he's the undisputed GOAT. It'll be a long time before another tennis player surpasses him.

It looks like Zverev is the favorite now. He played in the final in 2024. Maybe this time he can win it while Alcaraz, Sinner and Djokovic were all out.

Novak Djokovic is the undisputed GOAT of tennis, but yesterday he was not at his prime too many shots were not picked up by him. This is surely going to be important for him because now he needs to announce his retirement.

19-year-old Brazilian Joao Fonseca has done an impressive job and hung in till the last point. This was the second match for Brazilian, where he hung till the 5th set. Now he is heading for Ruud Casper, who is currently the favourite to win this title after the bloodbath in the second and third rounds, where many were gone. Now just Zverev and AAF remain from the top 10. Those are still fighting and looking for a spot in the next round.

The last 3 matches of round 3 are underway, with just 1 player from the top 10 able to survive and have a spot in round 4, while AAF is already entertaining American for a spot in round 4.

Enough surprises this year, while Djokovic also left yesterday. Now who will be champion? It's a big question because Zverev is always inconsistent, so whether he can win is interesting.

After beating Sinner, the Argentinian had another 5-set match and won with the score of 3-2.

In the WTA, Osaka and Sabalenka won their respective matches, while Gauff was gone a few minutes ago. Now Madison Keys is leading her match and having an easy win.

Joao Fonseca after beating Djokovic in that crazy comeback lost easily to Mensik,Mensik just destroyed him on the field and it was just a one sided match. Watching Mensik the entire tournament he is just playing really well, with all od the favorites out and only Zverev left i think the battle for the title will be between Zverev and Mensik and i wouldnt be surprised if Mensik won the entire tournament. He is serving really good and playing really attacking tennis.

In WTA everything is going Sabalenkas way and it looks like she will win the tournament if she continues to play like this.

WTA No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka was already dumped out of Roland Garros in the quarterfinal by fellow country girl 22-year-old 23rd-seeded Diana Shnaider with the score of 6-3, 5-7, and 0-6.

Now, this event is wide open with 4 players already in semifinals, and they will give their best for having a spot in the final. 15th-seeded Kostyuk will face 8th-seeded Andreeva here.

The Ukrainian is looking like a favourite after having a good quarterfinal win, while in the second semifinal, 23rd seeded Shnaider has an easy path to the final. She is going to face 114th-seeded Polish Chwalinska this year.

The title race is interesting in both ATP and WTA with most top players failing to deliver.

A few hours left in Roland Garros the Women's Final 2026. It's going to be a fascinating final between 19-year-old Russian Mirra Andreeva and surprise finalist Maja Chwalinska.

Maja Chwalinska has battled her way to the decider from qualifying - the first person to ever do so in the history of the prestigious Paris event—on her way.

Andreeva will similarly be eyeing her first Grand Slam title today, and she'll be hitting the clay in red-hot form, having dispatched Marta Kostyuk, Sorana Cirstea and Jil Teichmann all in straight sets in her last three matches.

 the Final

Will be an intresting final because we didnt have in a long time such lower seeds come to the final and battle for the title,i like how Chwalinska is playing and i think she can surprise in this match and win the title. The funny thing is Chwalinska dosent have a sponsor at all and a company from Poland helped her out and paid he hotel because she didnt have enough money to pay for it. Really wierd thing and this shows how much her reaching the final is huge and this is also the reason why i want her to win the title.
