Is the subscription IPTV Stalker ? What are the specs for the Nexus player ? Quad Core ? How much onboard memory and can be upgraded to ?

You can't upgrade, but you can add external hard drive, keyboard, ethernet USB to the device..  IPTV stalker is an 3rd party app, not a subscription.. But i am not using the IPTV stalker app. But similar concept to IPTV stalker.
