I really liked Bitcoinity.org and was disappointed when it stopped working, so my buddy and I have started our own ticker at Bitcix.com.

We have big plans for the site, right now the only thing on it is a Mt.Gox ticker, we hope to have more soon.

Right now the only button on

this box -> We're sorry, a socket error occured and a connection could not be established. Press the button below to attempt reconnecting.[WebSocket is not defined]

is "Reconnect".

Another button saying "I don't care, just get this box out of my face" would also be a good feature.

This is on an iOS device?  I am experiencing the same thing but only on my iOS devices, we are working to correct this.

We've changed the format to just one ticker with check boxes at the bottom to select which ones you want to view.  We still only have Mt.Gox and bitfloor, as we add more I'll keep updating this thread.

Bitcoin-24 added.

Their API does not support real time data, so we're only polling for trades which introduces a delay of about 2 minutes, so the 5 minute and 20 minute charts are disabled for bitcoin-24.

Could you add bitcoin-central.net ?
There is no real-time feed, but there is a heavily cached bitcoincharts compatible API so you can poll it every second.

I've been real busy at work so this project fell to the side for a bit, but we have been putting work into Bitcix, still trying to make the best real time bitcoin ticker.

So if you have some time please swing by Bitcix.com and if you have any suggestions please leave them here.

Thanks

Hey man, haven't seen the site before. Looks really neat, I probably change to using it! I do not know the API that well, but is there a big lag coming from the Mt.Gox servers?

I like how to website scales even on lower resolutions.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think it might be beneficial to you to find a designer for the website Smiley Bitcoinity is sleek, simple. This... well, I like the colors, they are simple and effective. But it could use some cleaning up Smiley

Anyways, hope for the best for your website!

It is our aim to bring to the bitcoin community the most up to date prices for the different markets.

Mt.Gox and bitfloor allow polling in close to real time, but because of the nature of the internet we cannot guarantee accuracy to the second.

Bitcoin-24, Bitcoin-Central, and BTC-e do not allow polling up to the second so their data is delayed up to 2 minutes.

Bitstamp has been added, and we've removed bitcoin-24 and bitfloor have been removed for the time being, if either of them comes back we'll reenable their tickers.

can you stream like clark moody?  It would be nice to have competing services spark innovations.
