Cryptopia's G3N wallet says "Wallet upgrade required" since about a week.
Does anybody know if and when they plan to re-enable their G3N wallet?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

OK everyone, a wallet update. It seems like there was a bug or two in the latest wallet release. The bugs have been fixed and testing will begin today to ensure there are no more. Expect an updated wallet release sometime next week. Thanks for your patience!

OK everyone, a wallet update. It seems like there was a bug or two in the latest wallet release. The bugs have been fixed and testing will begin today to ensure there are no more. Expect an updated wallet release sometime next week. Thanks for your patience!

Cryptopia never needed to update their wallet in the first place, there was no hard fork. Also I am curious as to the problems they are having with the build. Builds fine on linux and windows for me. |
