https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=131432 - Habeler876 *I believe this account has been sold on or around August 10, 2015

On June 26, 2015 poeEDgar sold the CEG5952 account to xarco, and offered to use Habeler876 as escrow. No big deal, accounts are purchased all the time in the land of bitcointalk, mostly for signature campaigns. Although this particular trade was done for nothing else, other then to farm trust. The difference between this trade that is unusual, is that the buyer, the seller, the account being sold and the proposed escrow are all the same person! It was only that while negotiating, these people decided to use the Hero member master-P who happens to be on Default Trust in the hopes of receiving a positive trust rating as a result of this trade, luckily master-P did not fall for this and did not leave a positive rating because of this trade.

Additionally, a thread was opened in scam accusations on September 14, 2015 in which it eventually came out that JerryCurlzzz had admitted to scamming someone because "it is in his nature".

JerryCurlzzz can be linked to the above accounts as recently as June 07, 2015, 08:51:56 AM when he enrolled for the DaDice signature campaign here (archive - reply #107) with 1FqrHFiXWLVdhgQm7nojrqCEG9kKYy3zPk however the account starts to use a different wallet on or around August 4, 2015, and I have other reasons to believe this account was meant to show as being a sold account. However it cannot be ruled out that this sale was faked as well.

I believe there is a strong chance that the following accounts belong to the same person as the accounts listed in the OP:

HarHarHar9965 - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=131686- currently enrolled in bit-x, txid's as per the bit-x bot have paid the same bit-x address since June 26, 2015, and account replied to a thread opened by another likely alt

Marbit - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=120267 - currently enrolled in bit-x, txid's as per the bit-x bot have paid the same bit-x address since July 10, 2015, and replied to the same above referenced thread. There is however a post that might imply the account was sold, however it is difficult to say one way or another.

As you can see, it appears that the person mentioned in the OP has claimed a giveaway from at least 13 accounts. According to the OP of that giveaway, they will giveaway 0.002 BTC to everyone who posts their BTC address, as in every person. This amount of accounts claiming giveaways makes PistolPete's research look like child's play.

To piggyback on the recent discussion regarding limits on how often threads can be bumped, it seems that some of this person's alts were activly posting in poeEDgar's sales thread.

I have long been suspicious of this user and his alts. This one looks pretty clear cut, all of those addresses belong to the same Bitcoin wallet and reviewing the posts of each account shows many more indications they belong to the same person. There is plenty of evidence to show that CEG and Habeler are alts of PoeEDgar. He tried to escrow for himself, even though he is of the opinion that this is deceptive and fraudulent. The fact that he would attempt to do something that he preaches is untrustworthy says it all. This is much worse than "faking an escrow" because he attempted to fake the entire trade pretending to be all parties in the trade. Clearly shows him to be a dishonest hypocrite.

Escrowing deals as one of the interested parties under the pretense of being a disinterested third party is deceptive and fraudulent.

Yup that checks out. I previously had a larger list of connections, however that were for the most part repetitive, but I lost the list while I was in the process of archiving the posts so I was going off the recent saves on archive.is and memory.

poeEDgar is 100% a hypocrite for giving trust to himself and advertising that his alts escrow his own (fake) deals

This is kind of offtopic. I would recommend you make a new thread if you want to ask how to determine if two addresses are in the same wallet. The website does work. If you get the response MtGoxAndOthers then that means your address is part of a websites wallet or you used coinjoin or another mixer that works similarly.

hehe, yeah may be. Cheesy

Well, all the few addresses I checked showed some weird wallet (most often MtGoxandothers) may be because sharedcoin transactions distorted the data.

But still I am not sure that presents a strong evidence to support the accusation.

But still I am not sure that presents a strong evidence to support the accusation.

I would then recommend you make a new thread and ask Bitcoin experts if those two addresses are part of the same wallet and what that actually means, and then you should be able to determine for yourself how likely it is that they are the same person. To me its pretty clear that these accounts are the same person however you need to be able to understand the evidence to determine that for yourself. I don't see how you can say it isn't strong evidence when you clearly do not understand it.

There are no coinjoin transactions in the wallet in question. If there were then the wallet would show as being in MtGox and others, although after a certain point then wallet explorer will exclude the transactions from belonging together (either way it will not show a CJ address as part of a small wallet).

If you look at the above timeline then you will see that poeEDgar signed a message from his address which shows the addresses are not part of some kind of service or website.

Careful consideration were given to make sure no sold accounts (that actually changed ownership, and not simply passing through an escrow in an attempt to farm trust) were tagged.

I'm not really affected by your accusation. My conscience is clean and yours are tarnished. You are just pulling everyone down as much as you could with your downfall. Anyway, I just saw this thread and wanted to post and mess around quickseller abit. Man I really thought you were legit but it seems that you turned out to be the hidden devil of the community after all.

And no I'm not poeEDgar just so we are clear (I know you know it). No matter how much you push me down, I won't take your bait nor anyone on this board will believe in you again. Sorry man but that's just how it is. Trust farming for myself? Not really my genre mate. I don't even find it profitable on a large scale.

And no I'm not poeEDgar just so we are clear (I know you know it).
There is blockchain evidence that says that you are poeEDgar....

edit: magic8ball was also warned about this prior to you getting your loan, so I really don't see any reason why anyone should wait for you to repay your loan to him before leaving you negative trust considering that he was aware of the accusation prior to funding the loan, and even acknowledged it...

I am not stupid.  Roll Eyes

Does not support accusation:

https://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/008079b36d4fdaef/addresses

As you can see those 3 addresses are in the same wallet.

Supports the accusation:

If you look at the above timeline then you will see that poeEDgar signed a message from his address which shows the addresses are not part of some kind of service or website.

Yes, I noticed. poeEDgar controls the address in question.

if he controls the address in question, then he must also control any other address that signed the same transaction that poeEDgar's address signed. That logic goes on forever until you have found all the addresses that have signed the same tx (excluding coinjoin transactions). Therefore all of the above people are alts of eachother because each of the addresses have signed at least one transaction that at least one other of their transactions has signed.

If you aren't poeEDgar then he must have sold the account. Did you buy this account? do you have any records of the sale?

The account is not sold. The screenshots in the OP were given by CEG and I uploaded them to imgur to reduce the chances of them being deleted by the previous hosting site. There is blockchain evidence that he received BTC both before and after the sale, including both within a week ago and when the account was newly created.

Edit: here is the most relevant PM from CEG

Hey QS.

I didn't really messed with you or your issues around the board. This account has been bought long time from poe. I could show you proof of purchase. I didn't really want any negative feedback as i just want to establish this account well.
Sure, just give me screenshots of all the relevant PM's documenting the sale of your account as well as the txid's and I will investigate and remove the negative trust as appropriate.

Regards
QS

Here's the TxID

The account was sold. He gave me the private keys to the oldest wallet he has here. And now he took the money from it. What a shame.

Yes I am xarca and I bought this account as I've provided proof to QuickSeller.

lol. The "proof" that you provided says otherwise Roll Eyes

You have also requested for money to be sent to that same address multiple times since your "purchased" your account which is not the expected behavior of someone in your position.
