There's no money on there and I can barely spot a single trade above 0.01 BTC. A market that tiny and thin shouldn't be compared to healthier ones.

That price is on Cryptsy in Euros - obscure exchange, less traded currency in a market with no depth.

everytime we come close to $250 the price goes down again. it's currently not the right time i guess. but as soon as we break through the $250 on bitstamp and bitfinex we'll advance further.

That price is on Cryptsy in Euros - obscure exchange, less traded currency in a market with no depth. 

And currently under federal investigation which means that its days could be numbered! This might have something to do with the current price as well. People are maybe trying any way possible to get their money out of the exchange!

Edit: Went down to 246 now

My app Bitspotty showed it at $250.85 an 1 hour ago  
I just checked bitfinex it shows $250.7 so it is right

Bitcoin did hit 250.1$ today..i noticed this price on preev and am very happy that i bought some bitcoins at lower price..i am not going to sell them till next year and will probably buy more because i seriously think bitcoin will rise just wait and watch guys and have faith in bitcoin..

Bitcoin doesn't need to be priced up near old highs. It just needs to be priced where there is better liquidity. The priblem right now is BTC is losing to private chains and all the hype in the news covers blockchains in general not BTC.

250 seems like quite a reasonable valuation though, but im not convinced we have true organic stability at this price.
