WOW this guy, Assad, suddenly became very popular and everybody wants to help him What is going on here? What about all this miserable people from Syria who became refugees and trying to find new life in Europe? Who will help them? Politics is sometimes very cruel game.

If Russia supports, can Cuba be far behind? The title should say Cuban forces in Syria to aid Russia.

Cuban regulars with Russian AK's probably are in Syria. Gunnery Sergeant Highway fought them in Grenada but command didn't listen.

What about all this miserable people from Syria who became refugees and trying to find new life in Europe? Who will help them? Politics is sometimes very cruel game. After what happened in Libya, the people have became more conservative. Most of the voters are not in favor of toppling of stable regimes (especially the secular ones), as opposed to the politicians. And the ordinary Europeans and Americans are asking themselves about the merits and demerits of toppling Assad. The only ones who gain from such an incident will be the Arabs and Turks.

They are just training with the Russians and learn how to use new weapons. Finally Cuba won't win anything if Assad remain in position or get kicked from it...

China is staying out as of now. They are the only notable exception. Earlier there were reports that China might join the Russian-led alliance, but these reports were refuted by the PLA authorities. Most of the other bigger nations are out there. Russia and Iran are supporting Assad, while the NATO and the GCC countries are supporting the rebels.

The Americans will just sit back and watch. They don't have the balls to attack China. Even if China is going to invade some of the allies of the United States (such as Japan, Philippines, or Taiwan), I really doubt whether the Americans will do anything. The Chinese government doesn't value the lives of its citizens. If a China vs US battle happens for real, then the Chinese will continue the war even if 100 million of their citizens perish. But the same can't be said about the United States.

An unconfirmed report from an unspecified source confirmed by an unnamed official and only on Fox. After a Cuban deal opposed by Republicans a story like this emerging on Fox is hardly surprising.

All the media nowadays report the same... Few of them are trustable so you better try to find the different point of view/ the opposite idea and then it is up to you to trust what seems to be the ''truth''.

Cuban forces? Long time I haven't heard of them, but I see a logic in sending them to Syria. Obama has said he won't send American troops on the ground, and Putin said the same thing with his Russian troops, so we see the vassals taking their place. I just wonder whose foreign army will America choose.

Cuban military operatives reportedly have been spotted in Syria, where sources believe they are advising President Bashar al-Assad’s soldiers and may be preparing to man Russian-made tanks to aid Damascus in fighting rebel forces backed by the U.S.
Gen. Leopoldo Cintra Frias, head of Cuba's Armed Forces, recently visited Syria to lead a group of Cuban military personnel joining forces with Russia in their support of Assad, according to information received by the University of Miami's Institute for Cuban and Cuban-American Studies.

This is quite strange. All of the sudden every other nation wants to help Assad. Initially he was termed as Real Villan and now he has become Hero overnight.

It is because of Russia joining the game. Nations with huge debts to putin will have no other choice but to provide help whenever they are called.
