The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Payment in full has been recived.

However, ripper234 used defamation tactics to save face after getting negative feedback on https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=147068.20

My previous recomendation to not work with ripper234 stands.

I won't comment on the details of this case.

But - you posted in Scam Accusations 10 minutes after expressing your concerns to ripper234, without giving him any chance to respond or satisfy you. (And it was obvious from his comments that he would satisfy you.)

That's not how things work, you need to try resolving the matter first and only as a last resort file a scam report. I don't see how anyone could take you seriously after this.

I'll take note that I may have been to quick to post here.

However, wihtout this post (leading to the community responses on the original post) the outcome of the case may have been very different.
