About 3 bitcoins if you max it out and push about 300 mh 24/7 till the end of November.
Make sure you are getting pps from your pool, you don't really have much time for variance.

Successful trades with bels, misterbigg, ChrisNelson, shackleford, geniusboy91, and Isokivi.

My 6870 gets about 305mhash/s overclocked to 1000 on the core, memory at 300. It works out about 0.1BTC per day I think...

Might want to see if it's even worth mining with depending on your power costs.

I had to get a new GFX card anyway, and my comp is almost always on, so the marginal benefits outway the marginal costs.

Ah, yes and no.  It might actually cost you money to mine.  6870 uses 150-175 watts, so let's use 160 watts as a good middle of the road number.  That's .16 Kilowatt hours/hour or 3.84 per day or about 115 kwh/month.  Let's say you have decent power rates and pay .10 per kwh.  That's about $11.50 USD/month to run the card.  Now this doesn't include extra power you'll be using just because you're leaving your PC on 27/7 and it's not sleeping/hibernating, so your real power costs are more than that.

With 300 MH, you'll make .09 BTC/day or 2.7/month.  At current exchange rates that's about $29.10.  So for under $18 worth of BTC you're stressing your card and machine 24x7 for a month.  In 2-4 weeks when the reward drops, that 2.7 a month turns into 1.35/month.  At that point, you're still using $11.50 in power for $14.55 worth of BTC.

Spend a few minutes and calculate things out and see if it's even worth the time/effort.

My 6870 didn't use near that. My 6970s don't even use 150 watts at 360MH/s

Yea I might not make any money, but it is still fun to mine and then play games with the bitcoins :p
So while am losing a bit of money, I am gaining enjoyment out of it xD

I was going off the numbers off the Mining Comparison Chart.  About 11 people have posted their 6870 wattage and the range is from 145 to 174 watts, so I just went in that ballpark.

Thats perhaps the full system wattage? My system uses 180w when mining, it uses 90w when idle although perhaps about 10w of that is the GPU idle?
