Yeah, normally if one is going to scam, they don't usually pay anything back at all.  It could go either way at this point though.

Any updates on this?

I am just waiting on getting the funds to buy the bitcoins to pay back. I also have my mining rig back up and running and am working on it.

Nope, I am going to get it paid back. Just everything that could go wrong last month did go wrong, and I am trying to catch myself back up.
