Due to the recent hurricane in the Northeastern part of the US, our hosting facility has lost power. They are working to resolve the situation and restart their backup generators however as of this moment do not have updates on when servers will be back online.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

The server is back online. However, due to the continued power problems in the NYC area connectivity may be intermittent at times.
