http://astrohacker.com/ahc/bitcoin-is-the-economic-singularity/

After reading this, the scale of black market and digital economies and the effect Bitcoin will have on them I am pretty certain we are going to be very wealthy men -- even with a sum as small as 10 Bitcoins. It's just so hard to believe. We are only in the beginning storms with these significant rallies from 10 to 20 dollars. I will not be surprised to see prices from hundreds to thousands in the coming months.

The world just isn't going to be the same and we have been blessed as the pioneers.

What are you going to do with your Bitcoin wealth once your coins hit upwards of $10,000 a pop?
Definitely,we are blessed enough to be the pioneers in bitcoin adoption. We as early birds would reap the utmost benefits of bitcoin when its price goes more high.I have a dream of joining 21 BTC group. So that i could enjoy a retired happy life after that.
Early birds will experience early retirement because of their good early effort from accepting and doing an investment with bitcoin. I'm not one of the wealthy elite, who invest in bitcoin in the early stage of this great journey. I start at the year of 2016 and i'm still hoping for the best to  come for me and earn at least $2,000 per year.

If the price move continues in the forward direction with stability even a single satoshi gets a good value. This makes most of the users depending upon bitcoin for their living at least rich if not possible to make them elite.

Or 500 000$ in 2030 ?

Call it what you want, investment or non-investment, but the fact is lot's of people increasing their capital through bitcoin, whether they bough at very low and then sold later, or simply trading. Not my case, I'm mainly holding, with an occasional self-gratification snippet out of my gains.

Let's see if we still get to 2000-3000 by end this year....

Yes...   Although you could really screw up by trading, if you don't realize that your goal should be mostly to keep a large percent of your holdings in bitcoin - so in that regard, you could be in some other crap coin at the time that bitcoin pumps.

Further, you gotta have enough insight to take a sufficient enough stake, whether that would have been 10 bitcoins or 100 bitcoins or some other decent quantity of bitcoins.

Sure, depending on the cost of living of your location, you may be able to even sufficiently be in the positive with 1 or 2 bitcoins - but the fewer that you have, the more hesitant you should be in cashing out or attempting to live off of them until you feel that you have a sufficient enough remaining stash to continue to profit from likely ongoing upwards price appreciation... in other words spend your fiat before you spend your bitcoin and continue to aim for bitcoin accumulation.

I am no trader, that's for suckers...
No shitcoins either, had enough with Cryptsty back in the day...
No, sorry I'm club 21 >

not all of them. myself, i got involved back then. mined a little, but only had one video card i could put to it. ended up with about 15 or 20 coin at the highest... sold and spent them on things around $100 to $150. most of that was video games, sad to say...

now i have nothing but last weeks earnings from the sig campaign i'm in, owe another guy on this forum several BTC, and... well, yea.

not everyone made out like bandits, even if they were here then.

i don't post much, but this space for rent.

It could have happened, we could have become the new wealthy elites but with bitcoin's stagnant scaling problem and these chinese miner mafia it seems that They  future is still to far to reach.
The pioneers of bitcoin were surely lucky to have 10 bitcoins by that time i guess they are so rich by now.

LOL! I guess it would not be possible again, we will not see another big downfall because bitcoin
has matured through time and more and more people are accustom with bitcoin which is hard to imagine the opposite result of success.

I agree that we will not be able to see that big dump on the price because bitcoin is getting more even stronger now and the price is always going up and that is the sign that bitcoin is now unstoppable and it can't be that easy for bitcoin to be dump because it needs a lot of money and bitcoins to do that and no one will ever do that because everyone always want profit.

NEVER say never in bitcoinlandia.

Of course QuestionAuthority is full of shit, and just trying to suggest that there is some kind of realistic possibility of his suggestion.

The future price of bitcoin is not certain in any kind of way, and based on a set of possibilities of up and down, somewhat on a bell curve, but t the further out your prediction about price, the more unlikely that such a scenario is going to play out, and each of us have our rights to various conclusions and based on various timelines.

Rather than talking about never or forever, maybe we could talk about some kind of specific target date.. for example, 1 to 5 years could be a range of realistic planning target that help us to decide what to do now.

In that time frame, I would place the odds of bitcoin going below $200 at less than 2% and the odds of going to $10 or below at less than .02%..   but we should also consider upside potential..   For example, reaching $10k in 1-5 years is fairly reasonable too.. and maybe we could assert that Bitcoin has greater than a 30% chance of reaching $10k in the next 1-5 years, and if my view of probabilities is somewhat realistic, then who gives a ratt's ass if bitcoin has a less than .02% probability of going below $10 in that time frame if it has a greater than 30% probability of going above $10k..

In other words, each of us are going to come to differing conclusions about future probabilities, and likely attempt to allocate our investment and our strategies in accordance with our views (and of course based on incomplete information)

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Never assume anything. I thought it couldn't happen too when the bubble popped all the way down to $2. I'm hoping all of the big block-small block bullshit causes a massive crash and we can buy back in cheap and do it all over again. It would also be nice if it was discovered that a couple of the Chinese exchanges were faking the price like MtGox was so we can do it all over again.

If the price pushes too high only the dumbest traders will stay with Bitcoin.

Remember, if you invest $100,000 in Bitcoin and the price is $10 it only needs to rise to $20 to double your money to $200,000.

If you invest $100,000 in Bitcoin and the price is $5000 it needs to go to $10,000 to double your money to $200,000.

If you were an investor, which playing field would you rather buy in on?

You are talking nonsense.

It doesn't fucking matter when you get in as long as there is upwards potential.. and less downside potential...  so give us some probabilities instead of just referring to stupid ass and meaningless discussions of unit value.. and attempting to argue as if there is some kind of meaningful likelihood of $10 anywhere in the near term future of bitcoin.

yes that is very right that bitcoin has now too much mature and people are not going for panic selling any more we have two good examples when the the price of bitcoin start downfall but the people give a good support to bitcoin and now we can see bitcoin again trading above 1200 USD level.

What's important isn't that Bitcoin could potentially fall, which it always could in theory, but the potential that Bitcoin will continue to rise further even though most of us are either a little bit late or lost many of our Bitcoin ages ago.

IMO, as long as this scaling war doesn't decimate things, it's highly probable that we see a double or even triple sized market cap within the next 5 years.

I believe also, I will be wealthy because of bitcoin because it has a great potential to bring us fortune. Seems to me that we will
grow bit as time passes and by simply holding our bitcoin, it would already give us a good income.
