This topic was written in 2011, and then I did not know about bitcoin, and even if I knew, I would never believe it. However, now the situation is quite different, and I have to buy bitcoin at a very expensive price, and so I will become a millionaire soon... But it only inspires me to move forward.

I think that when OP opened this thread, he never imagined that the bitcoin would reach the price of $20,000, since his biggest wish was to see the price of $10,000 someday.
Lucky all those who had the great vision of OP when it was possible to acquire many bitcoins for a few dollars, because today they deserve the great wealth they are enjoying.

i joined the forum in 2011 and saw this tread back then. thought the dude was batshit crazy. bit later i remember selling a bunch at $35 USD (which i though was the highest it would probably ever hit) and thinking i was on top of the world. went on a very nice vacation with the wife, all because of "magic internetz money." now i am about to retire early, mainly because of btc. what a ride its been! and the real ride is probably just starting really. |

In investing of course we have to be optimistic that we can be successful and rich, let alone bitcoin is a very risky type of investment so it is normal to expect to be successful and rich, and the fact has proved many successful and rich people since last year's price increase.
We don't need only to be optimistic but also to be aware of what are the things that we need to master or learn before going into investing so we can just chill and don't get a lot of stress because if you get into something and you don't know how to manage it well then that will become the reason for you to get rekt. |

Yes the green is now back to the market and that means the good time is coming back, no more the whole red color all over the market. No more loss right now because everything is bouncing back and only the people with their patience is getting back their profits. |

Can be said we are among the new rich because bitcoin is getting on top and increasingly its price. We can only hope that the market will be green and the bitcoin price will be higher. Bitcoin should be the main payment place if we want to become the new rich man.

Still jealous of all the people that heard about bitcoin 2-6 years ago. How lucky they are!!! Why non of that new bitcoin millionaires haven´t started any charity projects? Try to educate other people about blockchain technology!!! Or everyone just starting their own ICO and trying to gain some extracash?
Nevertheless it is curious to listen a couple of stories from people who get a bunch of bitcoin in 2011-2016..

If we said that we are now the new rich and elite people because of bitcoin that is very good to hear, but it takes guts to do that.. to invest all your money, that is a risky thing to do but if one is really confident in doing so without fear neither blame hinself for whatever thing will happen that is quite amazing! and if his dream will come true that what he invest doubled up wow! you are indeed the newest rich person ever.

Yup. I think we all know who the enemies of cryptocurrency really are. Even if they are investing, I can't imagine that they want it to fully succeed. |

In this generation many of us especially the millennials are eager to save money and involve in the investment industry. Some of the targets are young businessmen. But there's always a doubt because bitcoin is unpredictable. Anytime will collapse or fall.

I agree that the bull market has only just begun. Hopefully the posters of this thread from 2011 did not sell. One thing that is consistent about bitcoin is that it exceeds the highest expectations over and over.

This rubs me the wrong way, please let me take a moment to explain why. What will put many people stuck in hopeless poverty, such as those in sub Saharan Africa, out of that state is not donations and charity projects. Rather it is the protocols of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin, which will be instrumental in this. But regardless, you seem to have little knowledge and massive presumptions about the things "bitcoin millionaires" have and have not done. |
