i joined the forum in 2011 and saw this tread back then.

thought the dude was batshit crazy.

bit later i remember selling a bunch at $35 USD (which i though was the highest it would probably ever  hit) and thinking i was on top of the world. went on a very nice vacation with the wife, all because of "magic internetz money."

now i am about to retire early, mainly because of btc. what a ride its been! and the real ride is probably just starting really.

You were lucky. In 2011, my friend recommended me to invest in Bitcoin. But I ignored his advice. Once again, in 2014 another friend asked me to invest in crypto. This time also I ignored the advice. I invested only in early 2017, when the exchange rates were around $1,000 per coin. But I am happy. My investment has returned a 900% ROI.

Well, you are if you have purchased bitcoin when value still low as in very low and you are indeed got the big shot at this moment now due to its  high value. The name wealthy elite depends on your description of what wealthy for you is. i will just say i am not yet that wealthy considering that i am still learning and just started few months ago.

After reading this, the scale of black market and digital economies and the effect Bitcoin will have on them I am pretty certain we are going to be very wealthy men -- even with a sum as small as 10 Bitcoins. It's just so hard to believe. We are only in the beginning storms with these significant rallies from 10 to 20 dollars. I will not be surprised to see prices from hundreds to thousands in the coming months.

The world just isn't going to be the same and we have been blessed as the pioneers.

I remember when this site was new to me back in the day, I was discovering Bitcoin and I stumbled upon this thread, I was so mad jealous to not be part of the early adopters, thinking "damn, I will never even be able to make 1 BTC". After 1+ year of hard work dedication, I have managed to make a couple and im less bitter about it. I will continue to keep working on my crypto portfolio so hopefully some day someone gets inspired by this post to get your ass working into getting BTC instead of complaining.

i will sell half of my bitcoin and buy something for me like a motorbike or a car. Other half will be holded for higher price.
