We have enough funds between the foundation and deal to make the deal happen. Yassin, I would like to move my entire pledge to the deal. If the deal happens I will pledge another 5% to the foundation. If the deal doesn't happen, my whole pledge goes to foundation.  I think everyone should do the same. Nothing is going to happen if we all sit around with our thumbs in our butts and let others do all the work.

Great idea, it's really smart.

Yassin, please make the same transfer for me. Everything to deal. Thank you!

Are you also pledging the same amount if the deal happens? If so great thinking!

Yes, I have been thinking about this today too and was going to suggest the same thing. I'd like to move the 200,000 I pledged for the foundation into the "Deal" pool. I'm so curious to see what it is now. Hopefully we can make it happen. If not, then I'll donate it to the foundation

Ok before everyone moves their foundation pledges to the deal:

Foundation will allow events like the deal to happen continuously. Keep perspective in mind. The 'big deal' is indeed more time sensitive, but the Foundation need to raise its funds before big news can be released due to the inevitably rise in value, which will trigger illusory 'loss aversion' and make it borderline impossible to raise the amount for foundation.

So again: keep the big picture in mind.

World work of fiat. Best measures is relative fiat. So is not difference... Do foundation speculate the price? Cant have it all ways at same time.

Is the 25m the absolute minimum amount that the big investors require? Can they give the green light for 15m or 20m? This is kind of difficult spot for us IOTA holders to decide what to do. I personally see the deal very valuable and the problem with it is the time sensitivity. But what you said made me thinking again ugh  Grin
Because of the time restraints shouldn't we focus on the deal first and foundation afterwards. Do you see a risk for not geting enough funding for the foundation if we do as I suggested?

I am quite confident I can secure it at 20m too, but of course the more they have = bigger incentive to grow IOTA.

I have 250k each pledged for the foundation and the big deal so I have a total of 500k IOTA pledged. I wouldn't mind whatever ratio these 500k IOTA are made use of between the foundation and the big deal.

It sounds like people are selling more then are going to donate that to the foundation? That means donations in btc or buy iotas back after the 'deal'? I put 5% to each. Just got to hope everyone else does the same now. Smiley
