IOTA seems to be a good project with the good team. But what about the owners? Who are they?

i do not know about IOTA but i want to buy it, can anyone tell me how much price would be go in Dec 2108.

I see you're new to bitcointalk, welcome! Just an FYI, asking questions like this are usually pointless. No one here can predict the future. If you are looking to buy and hold until 2018, then I'd say just buy now, hold the coin in a wallet, and don't look at the ticker every day. It's bound to go up in the current state of the market, but I cannot speak on behalf of the 2018 markets - especially Q4 2018, who knows what the market will be like at that point in time.

As of now, IOTA is in the top 10 for marketcap. That usually leads to good things. Ripple has 38,739,144,847 XRP in circulating supply - 19x more than IOTA. At the time of posting this comment, ripple is ~75-77cents. If XRP had the same amount of coins as IOTA (2,779,530,283), then it's current cost would be 14 dollars. Just some food for thought. Once IOTA hits a market like Bittrex, I'm sure marketcap will grow, hoping for 10 dollars+ one of these days.

Can you tell me about when I store my IOTA in wallet, what I can earn from it?

IOTA isn't another PoS/masternode coin. You earn no additional tokens from storing it on a wallet

Meanwhile, the bounce from the $3.5 zone has been pretty weak with a slow grind higher just above $4. Perhaps we revisit the $3.2-3.5 zone again. There seems to be massive support at around $3 but not enough buying power to break through upwards. A good correction would be healthy.

I don't understand why the price of IOTA is rising?
Yes, the technology is great, it's new, amazing stuff. But, sadly as of now it doesn't work. Almost always the wallet doesn't work, can't connect to tangle.

Maybe I should sell at 6$.

It's rising because it doesn't work for you and some other guys who don't use synced node, for the others it works.

If you wish to see IOTA listed on Poloniex, please fill out their coin request form
https://poloniex.com/coinRequest
I think every holders IOTA want it ;-)

When the demand will increase than it will be pretty hard for Polo to ignore this token but at the moment it looking they will add this just sending request again and again. I hope soon it will be on all bigger exchange but I would like hodl.
Yes, it's true. Addition to the Polo always has a good effect on the exchange rate.
Proof of Poloniex =)
I think IOTA is good coin for hoDl

The reason your transaction did not get confirmed most likely is that the server nodes you got connected with were not synced. The servers are not always synced. You can check http://iota.dance/nodes and pay attention to the sync status. The synced servers have the highest numbers and both numbers should be same for one server.

To get your transactions confirmed, 1)making sure you set MWM to 14 and Curl implementation to CCurl in the Configuration under Tools. 2)Making sure the server node is synced is the most important step to make the transactions. 3)The third most important thing is to do the reattaching(not the rebroadcasting) every 30 minutes if your transactions are still pending after you have done the first 2 steps correctly. If you do the above 3 things correctly, your transactions will always get confirmed almost 100% within 1 reattachment and the most of your transactions will get confirmed without the reattachments.

There are no owners. IOTA is organized as a foundation. Check this link for a list of foundation members:
https://iotasupport.com/foundation.shtml

there is no actual difference in this case between a foundation and a company. So they kinda are the owners and own a huuge chunk of the currency mass.

Iota is always sinking, Great potential and idea. But awful technology and code and bugs and .. Maybe that is why other exchanges are not accepting it? They need to find more devs, find more investments and partners and soon..

Hey guys i have got something new information about the wallet of miota from the developer of team, it is good news and i think it will be affect to the price of miota. The much anticipated new wallet release is here:
https://github.com/iotaledger/wallet/releases/tag/v2.5.5
This new wallet introduces some major changes, such as moving away from Reattachements, to Transaction Promotion, which has proven to significantly increase tx confirmations and the Tangle reliability.

Well, just look at it´s wallet.... it´s awful. Never ever connects, and when you can login, even if you use the best node bla bla bla, it´s impossible to attach it to the tangle, so you can receive, so I have "0" confidence on sending my IOTA to official IOTA´s wallet.... sad but true.
