“Data is the new oil.”

What she doesn’t know yet is that crypto is the new pipeline, refinery, and gas station.

That's an excellent description. I will use this metaphor in the future to explain IOTA and the crypto-economy.

Speaking in the future, which wallet can I use to store the IOTA? Is there a wallet for web and physics? Remembering that I do not want to leave my future IOTA in exchange.

For now, there is only the official IOTA wallet. I have stored my tokens their since mid 2016 without any problems. You can try this. If you don't get to like it, you have to wait until Tinity comes out. All what I have seen about the wallet so far is much promising. It is currently in alpha testing phase.

Stay away from all other wallets that claim to handle IOTA.

someone tried DagCoin (IOTA) in real life.

https://medium.com/andreas-tries-blockchain/iota-cannot-be-used-for-iot-loss-of-funds-may-occur-e45b1ed9dd6b

IOTA is the worst cryptocurrency I’ve reviewed so far. Installing the IOTA wallet was a pain. Receiving and sending IOTA tokens is technically challenging and time consuming. Address reuse can lead to loss of funds. There is no functional IOTA mobile wallet. There is no IOTA hardware wallet support.

But most importantly it is very clear that IOTA cannot be used on Internet-of-Things devices, the problem it markets itself as solving! How can a smart lightbulb or drone stay in sync with a “tangle” that requires vast amounts of CPU cores, RAM, and network bandwidth to stay in sync with?

It's amazing how this project is still thriving! I thought IOECoin was the real IOT or IOE! Either way, things work that way. But I need to recognize that Tangle technology is interesting. Unfortunately, 2 Billion MIOTA is not attractive for a sense of value reserve, of course, the idea is micro transactions. Next year could be a magical year for this project. Wink

Interesting to know that the IoT market is forecast to grow from $170B in 2017, to $560B in 2022. However, this industry is not without its limitations. Due to centralisation, IoT is held back by scalability issues, high operating costs, privacy concerns and security risks. Hope that IoT blockchain projects like IOTA will cope with it. Besty of luck

I don't really like the fact that trinity encrypts the seed... I'd rather enter it everytime manually. Yep, I'm paranoid. Is there any way to do that?

quite an old vid where an old ridiculous guy trys to lower the price to get in as cheap as possible.
many of the points he comes up with are already solved, otheres arent solved.
this guy is trying to run his own coin (BitcoinHEX by being an ERC20 shittoken) and in his eyes everything else is bullshit.
in my eyes a paragon of a douchebag... just my two iota´s

Nevertheless something between funny and pitiable if this weak-minded clown now seems to relaunch his rewarmed fud-shit again.
