Great to read that you fixed the problem! That is why I recommend to always use Trinity Wallet Smiley It is the best and most user-friendly wallet for IOTA. And the seed import and generation is much more save as it is with web wallets and others.

If a node does not work just look up on Iota.dance. It shows a list of nodes including respective health, neighbors, version and milestones. Every of those parameters should be up to date. Then everything will work fine.

It doesn't work for me, no matter what node I use. I use IOTA light wallet 2.3.1.
Since 2017 I'm trying to open the wallet to access my funds but allways see the message "could not connect to remote node". How can I access my funds now?

As @dogebearman posted, you are using an outdated version that is not work properly anymore. Upgrade light wallet, or better, switch to Trinity wallet.

I installed the Trinity wallet, opened it with the old seed and it shows zero balances, why is that?

Market cap: $ 811,902,297
24 volume:  $ 4 126 923

This is an epic failure.

Yes indeed, Iota is a total failure .... run away until you are on time; and also runs away from the Eos, Waves, Stratis coins .... they are all a failure and all scam.

Are you sure that the entered seed is correct? For security reasons, the wallet does not allow the seed to be copied and pasted since copied data is stored in the main memory of the computer and thus there is a theoretical chance for hackers to read it out. That's why the software requires you to enter it manually. With 81 characters, input errors can therefore happen.

Do you have an estimation when IOTA is likely implemented in the physical word and be the backbone of the IoT devices?
