Did I miss a thread or a page with pictures in the 100 pages long and counting thread on btcfpga ASICs thread.

Aren't you guys supposed to start shipping in 1 month? Pretty sure you should have some prototypes you're playing with right now. At least a AutoCAD rendered image?

P.S. I'm not defending BFL, they might still be a scam until proven otherwise, but at least let's use the same scamometer stick to measure everyone.

fixed this for you. its only one person

One guy plus a bunch of temps, come shipping time.

The first "batch" is scheduled to begin shipping the first week after thanksgiving. I have probably only 2 people confirmed so far to help out, I still have to interview others and depending on our order load come the end of November I may need another 3-8 people to work 1-2 weeks.

Tom, any board pictures you can share? Btw, do your boards come into some sort of enclosure or it's just an "open" board?

The reason I posted pics of the office space was because people requested them.

The reason we don't have pics of the boards posted yet is because the design is not finished yet.

I answered these questions on Oct 26th with this post:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=79637.msg1300687#msg1300687

I dont blame anyone for not knowing this already because my thread is filled with trolling nonsense on a daily basis.

Everyone is working very hard to get this production ramped up on time.

Here let me help with a direct link:

Tom's new office pictures.

But what about product pictures? A scheme for the board, an AutoCad rendering? Anything?

Also, are the boards in some enclosure or they are like the mod miners?

the 54ghs boards will be 9x4 inches  with 2 x 6 chip clusters with a large heatsink and fan over each cluster

the 27ghs boards will be 5x4 inches witha single 6 chip cluster and heatsink and fan

there are no enclosures of any kind.

Did someone delete my posts? I posted 2 replys from work, and come home 6 hours later from a night at the bar, and I don't see them!

Thanks for the info, that helped me make a decision on buying or not a board. I also saw you posted a reply in the other thread saying you gonna get a rendered image, perhaps you can post here too since this one is shorter and does have bASIC pictures as the title ... it will help people find them easier.

How many beers did you drink? J/k, the thread was deleted, brought back to life and cleaned. Good job done by the moderators team.

Why not keep the original post updated with all available info in one place? Wouldn't that make it easier for everyone, yourself included?

Did I miss a thread or a page with pictures in the 100 pages long and counting thread on btcfpga ASICs thread?

Plus BFL gets like 10 different threads on the pictures subject. I think is only fair that cablepair gets at least one.

To clarify, I'm suggesting he update the top post of the main thread (or a new one), instead of the info being scattered over 100+ pages. Everything on one page.

I like the office transport system as shown in

In the Beginning there was CPU , then GPU , then FPGA then ASIC, what next I hear to ask ....

What in the world? Cablepair, what's your new timeline and what is it contingent upon? If you for some strange reason still think you can make your current timeline, please explain.

Images are not allowed. As your member rank increases, you can use more types of styling in your signature, and your signature can be longer. See the stickies in Meta for more info.

If we're holding them to the same standard, then you need to make this exact same thread over again 1000 times each time Tom answers your question. As soon as he gets the slightest bit annoyed from answering the same question over and over, make 1000 more threads about how he's trolling his customers and has poor customer service.

(I have nothing against Tom. Competition to BFL is a good thing.)

I'm just going to keep repeating "it's an Altera HardCopy" because I haven't the slightest clue what I'm talking about.
