Hello, are there any desktop programmes that let you input your Bitcoin wallet adress, the ammount of BTC(+price conversion from USD-BTC) and then generates a QR code based on that.

If not, how would you do something like this?

Thank you for your help.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

You can do this in Electrum wallet in the Receive tab.

Sure other wallets should have this same functionality.

A lot of clients do this, as they already have request payment functionality. Bitcoin Core and Armory do this too.

Easiest way to do this that I know off is by going on blockchain.info, because you don't need to download anything, you don't need any software to create the address and get the QR code. Of course, I would move my funds from there as fast as possible, can't trust anything but core tbh.

He is not asking how to create an address's QR Code.

But Electrum will only let you create requests from the address which are in the Electrum, you can't paste an address from outside and create a request payment code??

OP, try myb.tc

http://myb.tc/QJT/9.99USD  <- This is the result, if I create a request for $10

Or use this: http://www.btcfrog.com/qr/

This works, if I point my copay qr code scanner to it, the fields get auto filled with my address plus 0.02 in the amount field. I created it using btcfrog and uploaded the qrcode to imgur.

Thank you for your help.

Wallets already have that functionality--even mobile wallets have that too.

EDIT: Oh I get it, you want to create a qr code wherein tx details like amount to be paid and address are already available. I don't know any existing service like that. :/

AFAIK Multibit can do this, though it may just make the address' QR code.

If you want to just create an image, I'm fairly sure you can just use any QR code generator with the URL bitcoin:ADDRESS?amount=AMOUNT.

Thank you all for your inputs.

Like Twister mentioned, i would need a programme that lets me input other wallet. Lets say i need to have a programme, that my friend uses. He would need to be able to input my wallet adress and the ammount of BTC and then get Bitcoins.

Thank you for your website suggestions. I guess i will need to create some kind of desktop programme like this myself then Smiley
