Josh Giddey on Chicago, well, they are mostly about offense and Giddey is a good passer so he might help. Caruso on the other hand to OKC Thunder is something, they will have some defensive strength against backcourt players using him. They don't need a scorer, they have Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, and SGA, so the offense is covered at a high level.

There are many questions on these off-season trades that happened.

1. With a new coach, will the Phoenix play better right now with Budenholzer?
2. With a completely new coaching staff, will the LA Lakers perform better? Or they will stay the same as last season? Or even worse?
3. Will the Thunder be better on defense now that they acquired Caruso? Last season, they're 4th in defensive rating.

So many questions, and it will be answered when the regular season starts more than a week from now. My predictions will be Thunder will remain at the top for the West, and possibly be better in the playoffs, the Nuggets will not win the Western Conference because of their shitty bench, the Celtics will still be the favorites to win the title because of how formidable they are, and the Lakers will be worse than that of last season.

Solid predictions.  If Boston stays healthy they are a lock for a 1-3 spot in the east.  Next set knicks, bucks, sixers, I think range from 2-6 health permitting, and then clevland, orlando, miami, Pacers range in the 4-10 area.  As knicks fan it sucks to see but Boston team is deep and going to be hard to beat in a 7 games series.

Unfortunately I think that's going to be anytime this season he is squared up against any starting player.  He couldn't separate from kids in college, I actually feel bad he probably got pressured to go into the draft so he can "play" with his dad.  Kid could have benefitted from a couple years at the college level.  He is going to get embarrassed this year unless JJ does the right thing and not get him exposed.

I don't think Bronny will be embarrassed in the upcoming season because we have already seen his stats in NCAA, and his performance in the summer league. In other words, we already have a rough idea of his skills and what to expect from him. Anyway, taking into account his stats, I highly doubt JJ will be give him much playing time.

I think we shouldn't criticize him too much, as we already know his capabilities. Instead, consider it a gift to LeBron, who sees playing with his son as one of his greatest fulfillments.

Yeah, Curry definitely not leaving Warriors, there must be something HUGE for that to ever happen. I mean neither Warriros nor Curry wants to part ways right now, and Warriors benefit from him playing and them making money from tickets, even if they lose, they still get the full stadium at sold out, and with him getting his team to success so many times in a row, he is happy to retire as a legend for that team as well.

For this to change, there must be a fallout that is very public, some scandals, some huge deals that will not eb easy to handle and I think it's clear that we are going to see this changing for the long term as well. I believe that we are going to see Curry just finish and be happy to retire there and he will be not caring not winning anything again, he won enough.

Initially we say that he is not yet ready, so be it, it's either he should displayed what to be expect of him or just be another player who didn't get the chance to show his talent. So everything is on him and we can't blame fans and players alike to treat him differently.

I do agree, with Lebron influence, it's obvious that we will see getting drafted by no less than the Lakers. And then we are hinting on a history between the two, first father and son duo to play in the NBA, so that is already huge.

Yeah after watching him he won't play any meaningful minutes on an NBA floor in a regular season game.  In college against kids he shot under 40% from 2s, under 30% from 3s and mid 60s from the free throw line.  Same in the summer league.  At his height you need to be an elite sharpshooter to make it.  An undersize guard who can't shoot 2s, 3s or even free throws at a clip better than a big man is useless in the NBA.  He gets some charity minutes on the floor with dad then off to the g league where he will get embarrassed off the court.

Honestly selfish by Bron if ypu ask me.  Might kill the kid before he even gets started.  He definitely needed a couple of years in college to get used to the next level.

That's the advantage, LeBron uses his influence to make things possible for his son and there's nothing we can do about that, Lakers knows how to run their business and they use that edge giving James Jr a decent contract, like what you mentioned basing from his past stats we can't expect too much from him, just watch when the regular season's start and see if there's improvements that he can contribute to his team.

I am really sad about what happened to Derrick Rose but that is the life of an athlete. Sometimes you continue your goal with great health and sometimes you will be injured which could ruin your career. Many players have gone through the same thing as him but still, what he showed during his prime was so amazing and entertaining.
I could still remember my colleagues non-stop talking about him every day about how great he is and how he will become a champion someday. Sadly, that never happened in his career but I am still happy to be a part of the viewers for his very entertaining show in Chicago.

Retiring. He is just 35 years old but I think he feels that his career is already below and no one will pay for him anymore. Maybe this is the best decision so that he will be remembered for how solid of a player he was back in the Bulls' days.

Yeah I seen that amd pre knee injury dude was insane.  Had such a smooth game, didn't talk just let his game play.  He was going to be one of the best points to do it but that knee injury killed that all off.  Was a huge D rose fan.  He was so much better than russ and that's not a knock on russ, just how good dude was.

That is definitely something Lebron had to fight so many times in a row. Lebron could have like 6-7 MVP's by now looking at the stats and what he did, probably even more. This dude turns a team that would normally tank, into a team that will go to finals, so it's clear that we are going to see Lebron deserving a lot more, but you can't just keep giving MVP to same player every single season.

From his first stint at Cavs, to his Miami years, to his second stint at Cavs, dude could have won as much as 10 if you just sway a little bit to him. But MVP (unlike ballon) is given to different players very frequently, people dislike giving it to same person too many times in a row, and they do two in a row at best, then start looking for others.

AI was something special. I doubt we’ll ever see another like him. I just wish he didn’t stop dunking when he got in the NBA. His highlight reel at Georgetown is insane.

AI, John Wall, Russell Westbrook, Penny Hardaway, Derrick Rose… they were all some thing special in that they had the skill set to play point guard but could also dunk over anyone in the league.
