I tried my luck with Pacers win just for fun because it was paying out really good money.    I could have just gone for Thunder as well but 1.33 was just too low to risk it.

Congrats to Thunder! Just as most people expected, they won the series and got their second NBA championship in team history after a break like 46 years... They didn't even figure out how to celebrate it for a second. 

If you are talking about ML on Thunder yeah, it's not that very attractive. But if you bet like them on the handicap, they have covered it by a mile, and If I'm not mistake, it's about 1.8x-1.9x in the beginning.

You’re right, I frequently place bet on handicap with both OKC and Pacers on live games. It gives me a high odds since I timing my bet on the score when it’s huge.

The recent NBA finals makes a huge deficit easy to cut so I always place my bet when the lead is at the peak or near since I’m confident that the other team will recover it.

I become profitable on this playoffs by avoiding the ML pick since the winner keeps changing per game. It sucks if you bet in alternating patterns but in opposite result.

In any case, there are still some of us here who supported the Pacers till the end not just because they are the underdog, but we still think that they can make a good showing here. Unfortunately, Haliburton went down with one of the worst injury a NBA player will experience, and we hope that he will be all right.

Like me, I supported the Pacers because I believed they could win. And honestly, I really think they had a shot if Haliburton didn’t get injured. It’s unfortunate, but it happened, so we have no choice but to accept the loss,  after all, this is still gambling.

The Pacers lost and didn’t cover the spread, but they fought hard especially in the first half where they even had the lead...but things changed in the second half, and it was clear that losing Haliburton made a huge impact.

Betting ML on Thunders is not worth it considering Pacers has comeback magic on the last quarter of the game. Thunders on 4th quarter can still beatable if Haliburton was not injured. Pacers is still trying to rally on the 2nd half but they commit a lot of turnover that give Thunder opportunity to increase their lead.

I believe you are already in profit if you bet same amount on Pacers from Game 1 to Game 7 since their odds is high on their 3 wins despite losing 4 games.

Congratulations Thunder on this win, they were truly lucky i feel like if Haliburton was on the pitch and dont get injured Pacers can win the game, but well the life is not made around the "if" so they are the champions and they deserve it they were the best team in the regular season also, so congratulations Thunders.

If I may suggest, since OKC is the heavy favorite, check if your bookie offers a 1st Half / 2nd Half winner market. You could try OKC/Pacers. Odds on that combo should be pretty good too.

It was just a desperate attempt, right?    But if Pacers were able to resist more during Q3 then maybe there'd be a silver lining...

Haliburton's achilles injury in Q1 was a big loss for them. He scored three 3-PT in his 7-minute performance. I can't imagine his potential impact if he was able to play until the end.

Durant's trade to the Houston Rockets was very good. Durant is getting old and he doesn't have much time left to play at a high tempo. He didn't win a championship with the Suns and instead of staying there, he can try his luck with the Rockets.
From the Rockets' point of view, it was a very good signing. Jalen Green's contract was a problem, it's not good that so many players are leaving the team, but with Durant it will be a very good transfer of experience for the young players who will grow up with him.
It will be very exciting to watch Durant with Alperen Şengün

Durant's trade to the Houston Rockets was very good. Durant is getting old and he doesn't have much time left to play at a high tempo. He didn't win a championship with the Suns and instead of staying there, he can try his luck with the Rockets.
From the Rockets' point of view, it was a very good signing. Jalen Green's contract was a problem, it's not good that so many players are leaving the team, but with Durant it will be a very good transfer of experience for the young players who will grow up with him.

I think failing to get rid of Bradley Beal in that trade is going to really hurt the Suns going forward. Potentially for many years. After the failure that was last season, to be stuck with the worst contract and a bunch of round 2 picks is the icing on the cake. The Suns need to fire their GM and do it immediately.

Congratulations to Thunder and their supporters. After seeing that Q3 performance I just said they totally deserved it. This was probably one of the rare chances for Pacers to go for a title. But they still fought incredibly well. Good for them too.


Durant has 2 NBA championships in his career. Both of them with Warriors, back-to-back titles. He couldn't find what he was looking for at Nets and Suns. He is giving it another shot with Rockets now. Why not? Maybe they could be the next champions.

Nah, they weren't just lucky, they actually played a very good basketball since the regular season, finishing up the best record in the 2024-2025 NBA season. It's just that nobody was expecting that the Pacers are putting up a good fight against the best team in the NBA. Some people even said the Thunders would sweep the Pacers, but obviously did not happen.
It was just a sad ending for the finals series as Hali was forced to leave the game early. Though I would not think the Pacers will win, as I always have Thunder winning the championship, but If Hali didn't get injured, the game may have ended better than that.
I knew the Thunder would roll in the 2nd half and the Pacers just lost their primary scorer, so that crippled their ability to catch up with the OKC in scoring. It was clear during the 3rd quarter run for the OKC, the Pacers score just literally froze for several minutes at some point in the 3rd quarter as they are unable to get a bucket.

I have to say… The fact that SGA now has his name on the list of guys to win a regular season MVP, Finals MVP, & Championship in the same season is one of the biggest travesties in sports statistics. Maybe I’m just a hater, but I didn’t even vote for him to be on the all star team. What a bummer.

The expected trade of Durant is done...

Rockets got:

Suns got:

• Jalen Green
• Dillon Brooks
• No. 10 pick in this year's draft
• 5 second-round picks

Is this a good deal for Rockets? I think a good step for playing bigger. Losing Green isn't very ideal maybe but I don't think the same about Brooks.

Durant is 36 but still can do pretty good. He is still one of the superstars and can help a great deal for bigger goals. 

Durant might be 36, but last season, he averaged around 27 PPG with 6 RPG and 5 APG which is for me still all star numbers. Aside from that, the Rockets are at the bottom in terms of 3-pt shooting, and adding a KD on your team significantly increases that one. Another one is that, the Rockets with their old roster doesn't have anybody to rely on in the crucial minutes, and you can't rely on an inconsistent Jalen Green. Now they already have KD who can close games.

This is an easy win for the Rockets. The fact that they didn't trade some of their role players like Thompson, Eason, Smith Jr. and others is already a win. They're still one of the best in terms of defense, and their offense just got better.

He's not likeable but he just proved his worth and himself that he's a real MVP.
Since the past seasons, he's been consistent on how he plays and that's why he deserves him. I didn't also voted for him.
But with how he plays, that's how he's recognized and maybe this is just the first one that he'll get with the next titles that he'll get with the team.

You could clearly see how Hali felt when he was down on the floor, not just the physical pain, but more so the emotional and mental toll. After this, we don’t know if he will return to playing the same way again.

Anyway, congratulations to OKC. SGA has a lot of haters, but we can’t deny that he deserves the MVP. He’s been consistent throughout the entire season.

He’s just like LeBron who has a lot of haters, but no denying he’s great on his own. The Clippers probably gave up too much for PG, and now seeing how things turned out, they might be regretting that decision. Same with the Lakers, they let go of Caruso who’s been a great defender, and now look  they might actually want him back.

But anyway, enough of that. OKC deserved this win.
They’ve been the number 1 team in the West, especially in defense, so it’s really no surprise they won the championship.

The Boston Celtics are getting a little bit younger by trading Jrue Holiday to the Portland Trail Blazers for Anfernee Simons and two second-round picks according to Shams. Let the trading begin. I’m not sure this makes the Celtics better immediately, but it is probably a good move for the future.

A Butler-for-Durant trade is good if that’s even possible. I think the Warriors would take that deal.

I’ve seen enough of Butler. He’s good, no doubt, but he’s not on the same level as Durant. He hasn’t been consistent in the playoffs, and that’s where it really matters.

Truly, the "what ifs" will remain for all the Pacers fans and a lot of NBA enthusiasts.

I have thought about that one whole night and was unable to sleep. Haliburton played great in the first quarter before the injury happened, and he is actually aggressive offensively, which is a sign that he will keep on coming to shoot or attack if he wants to.
I guess this is not just his season. He tried very hard and even kept on playing even with the injury, but he lacked more time before that foot gave up.

Next season will probably not be for the Pacers either. He will rest for a long time to heal that Achilles injury. The same goes with Damian Lillard and Tatum. Those players will probably be out for the whole season.

It will be a weak East, and another team from the West might get the championship. Or a chance for the Knicks to win it.

Jrue Holiday was both old and a very high-paid player, I think they made a very smart trade. It's great that the team is younger and has some room in the salary range, it will be very beneficial for the Boston Celtics in the long run.
I don't know why Portland wanted Jrue Holiday, Simmons was a good player for the team and contributed a lot to the team. Let's see how he contributes to the team next season
