What do you think about the potential lineup for Sacramento Kings?

I’m happy to see Dennis finally become a starter if that’s the case, but I’m a bit afraid Westbrook might mess up the system.

He could still be chasing that first ring that's why he is willing to play again this time with the Kings. They have a solid line up and maybe this is the reason why they join this franchise. I don't know if the Nuggets offer him another option or he just left.

But in any case, hopefully he can break the curse and won his first ring before he retire. I think he already knows his limitation, I just saw some video of him trying to make a dunk but he feel miserably. So he is really out of his prime but maybe he can motivate his team mates as he had a lot of experience and being a former MVP, that knowledge he can partake to Sacramento will be valuable.

Both LaVine and DeRozan is avarage defender and they add Westbrook which is also declining.

This situation would provably cause them an issue since their opponent can provably score a lot from Sacramento.

Yeah somehow they have good talents in their team now, but the question if they can really work together. But let see they improve and lots of people are curious to watch them especially that Westbrook has been added on their team.

Lebron can't really play that much this season, he has specifically mentioned how he wants to rest his body, so basically he is going to play 40-50 games at most, maybe not even that much. His focus is on playoffs, he realizes that playing 80 games on regular season would not be even possible for him, but even if he could, like by some miracle, his body would be broken beyond repair to keep going during playoffs.

So Lakers has to realize, Lebron will be Lebron when playoffs comes, and they need to make some trades happen quickly so that the team without Lebron could be good enough to be in the playoffs as well. This one isn't enough, but has amazing assets, some great role players they can send, to get one star player.

I think that they are a championship team. If they will continue to become consistent for this season then that speaks about them and there is no doubt on how good they are as a team. Not a super team but with their key players, chemistry and consistency, they've shown how good they are. It's keeping them on the line and they're not letting go any of their key players. Most of the trades are not even in them and they don't want to touch any of them, hopefully it's like that and none of them will get traded during this season because they're like a team that's built in friendship and not adding any superstar at all.

They just collapse in the playoffs, maybe that is not their time yet, but they are a good team and correct they have a good chemistry sometimes in basketball even you want to win the ball just don't get any basket at all, and maybe Donovan struggle in the playoffs are just coincidence, I'm hoping they will be able to pass through this year if there are no changes in their rotation, maybe they just need more experience, and not aim for the top spot, because they might have fatigue in the playoffs.

They're still a young and healthy team. Just like what the OKC did for being consistent for 2 years and on their 2nd year, they've taken the ring. This team has got hope to be in the finals and take it. But every season that comes, there's always that better team than theirs but we all want to see them lift that trophy for some seasons. It could be this year but it might not be as well because there were a lot of revamps for different rosters in aim for that particular reason and that's to get that title this season.

It is like a combination of ex-Euro and NBA players.    It would be a quite old starting five though. Only Sabonis is under 30 (29). The rest are all 30+. It is good to have lots of experience but still would be nice to have some youngsters too.

But still a good lineup I see there. I don't know if they have a good depth in their roster. But this five can do some nice work I assume.

I would rather put Westbrook on the bench, and will add Keegan Murray on the starting 5. In my opinion, this will be my starting 5 for them.

Aside from Schroder and Westbrook, they don't have any reliable PG anymore on the team, and putting them both at the same time will be trouble for them because they don't have any playmaker for the 2nd unit anymore. Adding Murray on the starting 5 would be beneficial for them as they have a 3-pt specialist and at the same time, a great defender as well. Westbrook is a good defender as well, but he will shine more if he leads the 2nd unit. Their depth is a problem as well because they aren't as good as other bench players in the West.

Also, let's not forget that Westbrook's contract is a NON-GUARANTEED one meaning the Kings can just waive him anytime they want to if they see that he isn't fit with the team at all so the risk is now on Westbrook with 0 risk from the team at all.

In the last two seasons, LeBron played in 71 and 70 games, respectively. So I think he is quite capable of playing all 82 games, but there is no need for that. The main thing for the Lakers is to have LeBron healthy by the start of the playoffs.

It's obvious that he has lost step too because of the injuries he suffered. But during his prime he is a good shooter. But just like anyone who who just injured, majority of them wasn't able to get back to their previous form, including Malcom. He as a good rotational player when he was with Boston too. But again, he might have felt that his career is getting nowhere and that he might be high risk of a possible injury and that could be the advise of his doctor. Also, he might have settled already, uses his money in the NBA into investment and so he can now retire without thinking of his future as he could be earning passively.

The best part about having this type of career is that he has made a ton of money already.

It means that if he didn't spend it on clubbing and what not, then he should have a lot of money invested right now, plenty of players bankrupt after their career but we are hearing more and more about how plenty of players are investing into business that makes them even richer.

There are few who made more from their investments than their career earnings. If Brogdon made good investments while he is playing, that dude can retire at 32 and just live his life on the beach sipping drinks.

So it is not a sad thing, it is not a sad story, it's a good story, we all wish we could have retired at 32 and have enough money to last us until we die.

On paper the team looks solid, but it's also a little bit old. Also, the combination of Lavine and DeRozan didn't really bring a lot of wins to Chicago already, so I am not sure if he plans out the way they are hoping this season. Last season it was ok, but they didn't really reach anything, didn't they. Adding a veteran point guard like DS17 of course helps, but it's nothing that suddenly turns around the fortune of your franchise. Now adding yet another aging star in Russ is also a "meh" decision in my eyes. Well, of course I can be wrong, and I hope so, but I don't see them being close to the playoffs honestly.

To be fair it doesn't matter to Kings, they just realized that even with Fox they are not going to do anything special, so I am seeing them basically rebuilding. Which means that they could send away some players and instead pick up some assets and picks. That makes more sense and right now they are doing that as a better way.

This isn't really a bad idea neither, because with Westbrook leading them to rebuilding, they could actually build a team in 4-5 years that can rival for a playoff place and do a lot better. Fox was great but they couldn't build anything around him that worth anything so it made no sense to keep him when they can cash out on him and profit from it. In this case they are actually benefiting, while also Spurs is getting something good too.

It's pretty interesting that we're opening the season with the Rockets – Thunder game. The last champion will face the team I see as the biggest favorite for this season. I'm not saying this just because we're witnessing Alperen Şengün's rise to superstardom. They've added the best shooter in history, Kevin Durant, to an already great team. With Şengün, Thompson, VanVleet, Eason, Finney-Smith and the other role players, it's a full-package we've got here.

I was honestly surprised that none of the NBA.com writers placed them in the top two. But predictions like these exist just to be proven wrong anyway. The Rockets will show their strength on the court.
