The ones that surprises me are the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Phoenix Suns who got their victory in the opposing team. The last shot of Suns' Crawford made them win against the Bucks. Lakers won again against the Jazz and they won 7 of their last 8 games.
With this win, looking forward to make them more hungry and more eager to gain more and more, GSW needs to boost their winning level again without curry they are often been test by teams who wanted to win against them, fans needs to see more from this squad and bring the championship category back and begin to make straight winning streak.

This is a morale boosting win from the GSW to snapped out of that 4 losing streak. They played like their old self passing the ball and KD and Klay had a good game and again other players step up as well. I think this is a good indication that the drama might be over or at least the confidence is back. They beat a good team today in Portland, by passing the ball more and involving everyone and this is the Warriors we have known, and its nice to see them getting back on the winning column.

San Antonio Spurs are really not doing as well as people imagined. Lamarcus Aldridge played well but that doesn't really have to happen if they want to break a losing streak. The team really miss their players that are out with injuries, mainly Pau Gasol and Dejounte Murray.

With Gasol on the court Lamarcus could switch back to Power Forward and usually has height advantage which helps him with the midrange turn out shots. Also Dejounte playing gives the team a great perimiter defense help so they could get better and defending shooters. After all this is the spurs they should be beasting somehow anyway but they have been lacking a lot and really do not look like a playoff team for the first time in 3 decades. I think they really should reconsider Poeltl because that would help them out a lot in center position and help out lamarcus as well.

Yes there is a missing piece.
Aldridge is not a center. He was used to just being 3 or 4 position and yet now he is doing everything. That is a hard task to do and will drain your stamina in an instant. Securing the paint is one of the hardest job in basketball.

How about the Pistons winning against Houston in overtime? Drummond is monster. Defense and offense inside even against Capela.

Aldridge should adopt to pops gameplay that is given to him. Yes being a center is hard and a very physical position but I guess Aldridge is getting good in it because of his predecessor is one of the best center in the league which is Duncan.

Regardless of what is happening to them now, I still think they will reach the playoffs, there's plenty of games and one day they will be healthy again
and can compete with the good teams in the NBA. They have the talent and the experience and they have the best coach, so I am very positive it will not be hard for them, let them struggle now, what's important they'll be stronger once playoff will arrive.

I get that Sir but he aint Duncan.
He had been used to a position that can do offense much more than defense.

One more problem is who will substitute him after he got so weary in doing defense and offense.
They need someone that would focus on the defense or a real center.

It cannot be a DeRozan play over and over again or else they will be scouted and the team they will be playing against will just defend DeRozan harder and will leave the rest. It must be balanced.

The Cavaliers did have a good game against the Houston Rockets. Sexton, Clarkson and Thompson had a good game. I thought that entering the 4th quarter, Houston was going to turn around the game as Harden is taking over, but Clarkson had a back to back basket stopping the momentum. It looks like they slowly blending it but I don't think it will be enough to get for a playoffs this year.

I can't play Dallas is doing so well this season. They are 9-9 right now and if they win one more game they will be ahead of Spurs which will be the first time spurs are under both Texas teams in YEARS so deep into the season. I think Texas teams should really start focusing on getting better once again because they really do owe that to the fans.

I am so glad about Doncic because before the year started I have always said a 19 year old kid who became the euro league MVP should be considered at number 1 in the draft no matter what but Suns did the most idiotic thing ever. I can't understand how Doncic dropped as low as 5th spot knowing full on well that he was a star in the making. Dude is averaging 20 points as a rookie and has 6-7 rebounds per game with some assist. He will be a superstar like Dirk was in 5 or so years.

The warriors have been winning for a couple of years now hence they're the defending champs so i guess a little losing streak arent't going to be that much of a concern. And it's the regular season. I don't think they're thinking of ending with the best record before the playoffs yet.

It was fun to watch the Portland Blazers but again they lose against the Clippers.

The 2nd unit though at the first half giving their all and getting the lead for the team.
They got a lot of future ahead for they are still young.

I prefer more like Kevin Love or Kevin Garnet. A small forward or a power forward only. Dont want to be lining him up with the big men or centers.

He should stay focus on his outside shooting and then rebounds on defense.

Yeah I agree with you. The current roster of Cavaliers is not a playoff contender right now. No all star players most are average players. I think it will take time and a few trades maybe to be a playoff contender.

They will face against Timberwolves in their next game in their home. I'm predicting that they will win again and Twolves are not a good if they are away from their home court.

If they will continue to rebuild and blend well who knows what fate will bring them, we can make GSW as a good example, the first champion was came from players blends together creating a super team, that time spurs and clippers have all the super star caliber players and still on there prime, maybe chance for cavs players to go out of the box and build their franchise be competitive and win the fans again.

Underestimating cant really be avoided but there are already lots instances like what you have said most people attention are on those teams which do have superstar players but every other year
there would really be some show-off player which we cant really expect for it to perform well. For TimberWolves most of the time they arent good if they are away on its HC.
Checking out on current roster or line up Cavs sad to say it isnt really good but who knows that it would able to push through playoffs.

I am not gonna lie I was one of those people who said San Antonio Spurs will be better this year thanks to the trade but apparently I was wrong as well. Of course, we are still early in the season and there are still a lot of games to be played but they do not look better after the trade.

I believed they would be much better because they traded Kawhi who played only 9 games last year and got Derozan who is a star in return, considering a 9 game Kawhi wouldn't make a difference compared to a star that will play a lot of games I believed they will be much better this year.

However, Derozan is basically playing all by himself this year, Lamarcus is good one game and bad another and incredibly inconsistent, Rudy gay scores a lot one game and sucks another game, Dante Cunningham is not a starter caliber player at all and all the injuries they have really crippled them. They were suppose to be really good this year after they got rid of a locker room trouble but not doing as well as hoped.

Remember its not only Kawhi who left, Manu retired, Tony Parker moved out so there's a lot of going on with the team. Of course they need to be consistent which at this point they lack and just like what you said, they need to work as a team and it looks like they have some new plays in order to accommodate DeRozan style as well. So its too early to call and usually these kind of high profile trade takes time for us to see if the team really benefited or not.

They are exploding for some time but it goes of for a lot of times too. That is the problem.
I think they are still not synchronized. They might need more time. It is like they are still smelling DeRozan but actually that is how he play even when he is in Toronto. They need to change that.

Pops have a different kind of play and I think he knows what is happening and what is needed to change or if he needs a new player to fill the blank.

They need more blending and good executions, I also seen from their past games that players are inconsistent and they are not blending to well, as far of those stars if they played well together surely the team wins but if one of them are not, the results are different, we need to consider that they are still in their adjusting period and like what the previous replied was said, it's not kawhi alone but also ginobli, parker and green which really involves with their offense and played together for some time.

Spurs is pretty much a new team already, they are not with Manu, Tony Parker, and Tim Duncan anymore and even without Kawhi now. With new players on the roster and even if some of them are good the chemistry wouldn't be there and it may take some time for Gregg Popovich on figuring out how this team will blend well with one another. And Popovich has proven it over time that the team will get better once they get to know each other, like what he said the season is still pretty young and they can have more experience with it.
