Yes, I think all the veterans contract is just for 1 year so it will open up some space.
Question is do they need more space to provide for a new star or they will just rely to this veterans for being a 2nd stringer and also giving good advices to the young stars which I think is working.

Kuzma should stay and so does Ingram. He is becoming more like Durant. Long arms with also high percentage of perimeter shooting. That will be hard to block.

I'm watching it live now, the Rockets are leading in double digit and I think they'll pull this win.

Lakers pull an upset and stun Houston, but there are some dodgy calls specially in the dying minutes. But you can't take anything from Lebron as he try his best to lead this team. Paul and Harden, both fouling out, hard defeat for them as they lead as much as 19 if I'm not mistaken, but they have missed lots of three point and together with poor defense, allows Lakers to escape with a win.

It's unusual for this two top players to be fouled out together, lakers got lucky snatching this game out from the rockets, got a good lift from
kuzma and ingram together with lebron chances of getting their way to playoff still alive.

The Lakers got some big help from the refs, clearly they got dominated early but the refs ruined their momentum.
Best players are both fouled out, and the coach receives a technical foul, it's very clear that they don't like the officiating of that game.
Capela was back in this game but hasn't shown his beast mode yet, first game from injury is always touch as you will be trying to get back your confidence.

Indeed, that charging fouls against Harden was really questionable, and thus throwing the Rockets offense that time and that help the Lakers pull a upset. High chances but not a guaranteed thing for Lebron to carry Lakers to playoffs but basing on their current performances there would be still some light that they can push through.

Team world loss guys, 144 - 161, a very high scoring game.
For a while, I thought they had a chance but the team USA is just too good tonight, they are shooting well.

I'm waiting now on who will be declared as MVP, it's probably Kuzma IMO.

Wow, I thought Team World will take this one, but Team World was shooting poor specially in three points category and had more turnovers. Simmons lead them with 28 points, while Team USA had Kuzma with 35 points.

So he takes the MVP this year. Hats-off to him. It will also bring more confidence to him as a Laker.

It is a remarkable time for kuzma showing his capabilities, knowing that the game is composed of pure rising Stars, the future of NBA new legends, with that dominations he will be remembered and fans will delight him more, though I voted for Team World, I still adored and congratulate the team.

I think Lakers veterans are there for the season, they are not there for the long term, so if they could just get a superstar I am sure the young kids of that team will come off from the bench and the veterans like lance will be gone. They will not sign those veterans until they are sure that they will not be capable of getting any superstars.

If you look at the free agents this summer you will see that there are not many people Lakers could get, I mean there are some people who are good but won't make Lakers a championship team, I mean if they could get either Durant or Kawhi that is great but that is doubtful and won't probably happen they "may" get Kyrie but Kyrie getting back together with Lebron is unlikely as well.

Aside from Cousins that would help their center position aside there is no one left in that free agency that would make Lakers a championship caliber team. Hence I think free agency will not be the place where they will go for becoming that good, they will have to do trades in the end.

Hasnt he been to the playoffs every year since 2010 even under different teams he has been with? I remember him with the heat and cavs bring them to the conference finals time and time again.
I know he has made it 13 out of the 15 years he has been playing.

Even without Harden of the Rockets their role players seems to be doing good.
They are in hype. They did defense and offense and all are like excited to play.

There are two candidates for MVP in OKC, not only Westbrook is doing well, his buddy Paul George is also helping him to carry the team to the top.
OKC is currently top 3 in the western conference standing and there's always a chance that they could end up no. 1 this season if they continue to improve. Meanwhile, in the East, although the rank are close but I believe they are pretty dominated by the Bucks.

I believe that the Lakers will go to the playoffs this time as LeBron's playoff intensity is activated but how I wish they place on the 8th seed and GSW maintain their number 1 spot so they will be match up in the first round and when this happens the series will be like the Western Conference finals and whoever wins this series would be the 2019 NBA Champion.
