Going with heat and Philly today. Raps aren't that good
Not good? I don't know your definition but AFAIK they route the Heat today.
Raptors are playing without their main man were able to beat the Heat at home and they make it with 21 points advantage in the end.

Raptors loss against the Rockets at home but it doesn't mean they are not good IMO.

How can they be good when they lose to the Cavs? wow, fire nurse, fire masai
Raptors are inconsistent, they loss against the Cavs, not good, but have you seen how the warriors loss to the suns as well?
I guess games lately are so unpredictable, good teams losing to the weakest teams seems like normal, but if you look at the overall standing, still cannot be denied how good the Raptors already, they are already in the playoffs even if they tank in most of their remaining games.
It's good to see that even the dominant teams can be beaten by the underdogs, you give a  good example, even raptors lose with cavs they are still in the playoffs, might have some bad nights for raptors as even they have much deeper bench things didn't work out well today.

How about celtics and clippers game? tatum less celtics got overpowered by the clippers, what a game for Lou Williams.

Phoenix beating the warriors last night?
What has happened also with the bucks losing to the spurs? Embarrassed
I think now is not time to rely on the best in the east and top of the west to not be on their game with the remaining games left in the regular season.

GSW was great at the first quarter but it ended at 2nd where Suns gets it back in just a flash.
They have been quite sloppy with their plays and Booker saw that killing them with his accurate shots that is unstoppable.

Good defense back and forth and stops while GSW keeps on missing shots.
You cannot really tell by now what could be the outcome. Booker was so happy at the end of the game beating the number 1 team in the West.

Phoenix is on a run and seems like they are super motivated, especially against big teams. They won 5 of their last 7, during which they beat playoffs teams like Miami and most important they beat the two top seads Milwaukee and Golden State. If before this you would bet against Phoenix without even thinking about it not you might be afraid to bet against it.

I think the real deal here is the confidence of the teammates of LBJ, no matter what how good LBJ is and if there's no team work the team will fall by the end.

The real potential of the players are not shown because of this. Look at Kyrie, he leads the celtic with the team as came strong in the mid season. If Lebron could control his facial expressions in every miss of his teammates, I think there would be a great difference rather than making excuse out of his teammate.

ANDRE INGRAM IS BACK. He is basically the favorite basketball player story I love to read. Dude was a college player who finished with a degree in physics and a really smart dude who accepted the fact that he will never be an NBA player but decided not to go overseas or anything so he stayed on Gleague and played over a thousand games there.

He didn't make enough money and he tutored students on summer on math just to make ends meet and never really had any financial freedom most of basketball players had, lived on an expensive place like Los Angeles on just 60 thousand dollars yearly which is really less than some McDonalds managers make there and made it into Lakers roster last year and earned almost as much from that as his contract at g league and now called back this year as well.

I am sure this year wouldn't be that much of a deal for him since he had is debut already but playing on Lakers must be amazing no matter how or when. I just hope he could find a min contract somewhere in the league before he decides to retire, he really deserves a good pay check in his case even a minimum would be so much better.

Seems the bottom teams are playing these games harder then the ones who are on top of their conference knowing they already clinched a playoff spot. So why would they push their key players now and not save this energy when it will really counts? To fight in their selective conference.
Celtics lost last night and raptors the night before. So expect this to be an ongoing trend for the remaining games left.

This is the problem of a team when they have LeBron, they are adjusting to him no matter what the odds.

If the whole team do a blackout when they play along with the King that their problem, not his. Of course, the team should be adjusted to him, he is the best player in the League for many seasons and he has proven that he can carry a team to the championship winning. If the young core can't adjust then they should make a room for new players that can learn by playing alongside LeBron.

I don't think Lebron will be going anywhere even if the rest of the team have a bad blood on him, the Lakers' already made a commitment by giving him a huge contract and they know a lot of their players will be tradeable once the free agency season comes. Lebron won't be signing up with the Lakers if he and the management didn't have any future plans to make the team a championship contender. After this season he still have 3 years left with the team (2 if he opt out earlier) and that is a lot of time for Lebron to build a good team that can play well around him.

I think LeBron expect this when he signed up with the Lakers. His plan was to build a team during those 4 years of his contract that could compete in playoffs with the best team so nothing happened without a reason. Just wait for next season, because I think Lakers are preparing something that could change the whole team.

It isnt possible to opt out earlier yet the contract has been made. 4 years time where Lebron would stick out to the team. They might fail to get in to playoffs this year but there would be definitely
some plans to make Lakers to be a better team. Synchronization/Team work cant be built or perfected on a short period of time specially with youngsters together with Legendary player.Adjustments is really needed, it might didnt work well on this time but further on we would able to see the progress of this team.

Well, Luke Walton will be fired, no question about it. Very likely getting rid of all vets on 1-year deals and probably trading 4 of the 5 young dudes they have. Other than that I don't see them land any notable free agent: Durant, Kawhi, Klay or Kyrie. I'm pretty sure Pels ain't trading Davis to Los Angeles either, no matter what offer they send, it's just not gonna happen.

Don't forget that Magic and Rob Pelinka have no prior experience as president and GM, some very questionable signings and trades over the last two seasons prove that; Zubac for Muscala straight up was a head-scratcher.

Anyway, some dude over Reddit broke down Lakers 2019 free agency, you might want to check it out.

It would be interesting to see a Lakers team with LeBron, Kyrie and Klay Thompson together even though that's less likely to happen. Also Vuvevic I think would probably fit the team from the performances I've seen from him in last month. Anyway, looks like they have some options to choose and it could be any of those so let's just wait and see.

Just wait for next season, because I think Lakers are preparing something that could change the whole team.

I don't want to expect big anymore coming from the Lakers, they had a big move this season but they disappoint us.

Lebron is not getting any younger, if you break down his play this season you can tell that his consistency is dropping, instead of the Lakers
I would look for a younger star like Giannis as he is very close to Lebron and possibly will become one of the greatest player in the NBA.

I would say that yes, it was really a big disappointment this year. Everyone was counting that Lebron will lead the young Lakers, anyways, there's a lot of things that happen beyond his control like his injuries and some of it's players so we can't really blame Lebron for everything but we remain optimistic and look for the next season.

He did his best, maybe pushing his body beyond that's why he gets injured so I agree that we don't need to put blame on him. As for Giannis, yeah he is the new face in the East since Lebron left and we all know that the kid has a lot of potential and I'm sure everyone would agree that he hasn't reached his prime and can still improved a lot in the next coming years. And we do hope that one day he can get a ring as well.

If that would happen plus Davis from the list, think that lebron will have the team he always needs to, though you just said it, we can't assume yet that this line up can be form and if the free agency will be let go of other teams who's also eyeing to rebuild their lineups.

Still lots of things to expect as we are still long way to go before the finals, things will be change
after the season, Let's enjoy the current league.

As i said in my earlier post i dont think Lebron expected much from this young Lakers team. Of course he probably expected to reach at least the playoffs even if there their prestation would have been bad. Things didnt go as planned but everyone learns from mistakes and so will Lebron and the Lakers next season

Some of this losing games of the top seeds could be a strategy.
Yeah they let their stars play just for fans so that they will still watch the games. That is still income for the management.

Eyeing for which team you want to go against in the first round could be a good strategy. Weaknesses and strengths is where they will look at. Something like a team strong using a center and pointguard like Rockets and avoiding teams which have defensive players that could defend Capela and specially Harden.

Games will not be seen as a pure selling game, just the right amount of offense for fans to cheer at.
A great time to bet at lower seeds.  Grin

What I am afraid right now is the New York Knicks. After this season, we can say that they can get those free agents. They are really aiming Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. It's like a Kyrie and LBJ combination. Wow, plus resigning DeAndre Jordan. This will be a blast. What do you think?
