The game was alright for both sides, there is no need to overreact on literally game one of the season. Lakers looked like they could actually be good if they could just implement AD into center position more often, he doesn't have to start there but when someone smaller is at Center on the other team he could just switch there. On offense they lacked a cohesion because they haven't been playing together for too long so it will take some time to build that chemistry but over time I am sure that will happen as well. Clippers on the other hand looked really scary, this team was the team that came back from 31 point difference and beat GSW last year and they have added Kawhi on top of that (plus PG but he is injured), they looked like they can defend anyone at any position the whole game, they will be like 2004 pistons but with faster offense.
Clippers also added a lot of players this season, the thing is that they are much a better team today because everyone knows their role. As compare to Lakers wherein James and AD are the main options and when they are check, nothing falls except for Green. And with this Clippers win against the Lakers, they have send a message, and they have raised the bar so high with that win. And Lebron started to look old, . Clippers improved so much in their defense, and there are even news that Rivers owes the team some money for not allowing Davis to have an alley oop dunk or something.

Seems that the odds of Clippers to win the League are higher after watching the game against Lakers last night! And Leonard Khawi have a great performance with 30 points, last year we see that he's carrying Toronto Raptors and now he's helping Clippers and do a great job.
People are convince that Leonard alone can bring another championship to this team but as the odds decreases I would not be taking them and instead I will just wait until the playoffs will start. People seem to forget the Blazers here, they are still in my radar and I know this team will perform well this time as they need to compete since they've been eliminated badly every playoffs.

The team everyone is sleeping on is the nuggets, they shouldnt be a dark horse they are legit Jokic has a chance to be a top 3 player in the league and jamal Murray is filthy. Add in gary Harris and a nice supporting cast and you have a sick team. I'm laying choice for nba champs with the nuggets. Dont be surprised if they end up #2 seed again and possibly #1 seed out of the west.

Hey, I like the Blazers chances as well because of their last performance last year. As for the Clippers win, to really say that the match against the Lakers team in a good yard stick, lest we forget that Kuzma is already injured. So it will be an even playing field if Kuzma and George both play to really see how everything will end.

We can also consider that it's another strategy from the coaching staff where the opening game can be a good time to check the combinations and how the players will blend together. No , I dont think It goes that way. That's the regular season. That kind of experimentation strategy should've done in the pre-season. I can say there's a lapses from the coaching staff as well for benching out McGee for the whole 2nd half. Howard, somehow didn't make an impact.

Howard is done as anything more than a role player. Can give you 10 minutes on the floor getting some keyboards and blocking the paint. But he jams up offenses. Back to the bucket paint player doesnt really work for a team with lebron and ad on it. He will play mop up minutes at best. Watched the whole knicks game. RJ Barrett is the real deal. Kid can ball and already looks comfortable at nba speed. Cant wait to see how he progresses this year. I hope he can pull the knicks out of the 2 decade hole

Another entertaining match today (Wolves 127 - Nets 126). A typical performance by Irving carrying his team with a 50 point performance against KAT and Wiggins team but that last shot that he took though
By the way, Danny Green surpassed Jabbar's record yesterday for most points made by a Laker in a NBA debut (Green - 28, Jabbar - 27).

No matter how many how many points a player puts up, if it ends up lossing, then it doesn't matter anymore. Like Irving putting up 50points in his debut with the nets means how deadly of a caliber player he is. If only Durant was healthy, they could've won the game though.

Getting the W is still the most important thing of course but let's not ignore those great individual performances. There was a lot of 3's in that game and KAT also made a lot of them which is an improvement for him. If he can keep making those shots consistently, Wolves is likely to make the playoff.

A typical performance by Irving carrying his team with a 50 point performance against KAT and Wiggins team but that last shot that he took though If those free throws of Allen got in, I guess there will be no OT. And if that last shot of Wiggins became a buzzer-beater, Nets were done early. The last seconds of Kyrie is entertaining, well this one should be of the great match so far.

His debut by breaking records is a good start for him and teams

here's the answer : Nets not expecting Kevin Durant to play this seasonThat's alright, Durant needs to fully recover and I am sure that with how Kyrie showed in the first game, Nets will be able to be in the playoffs again this season. Kyrie can't score that all night so he also need some help, it was a great night for him individually but bad because his team loss in the game.

People seem to forget the Blazers here, they are still in my radar and I know this team will perform well this time as they need to compete since they've been eliminated badly every playoffs.
I dont. Lillard is in his prime now and he is still growing his skills but for now the hype is in both LA. Once they see the Blazers game then they might shine again and be on the front page of every news including social media. Another entertaining match today (Wolves 127 - Nets 126). By the way, Danny Green surpassed Jabbar's record yesterday for most points made by a Laker in a NBA debut (Green - 28, Jabbar - 27). This is what Irving wanted even from the start of his career, his own team. They have the same look as Kevin Durant which seems to be not happy to every championship that they had. They felt like it was not their team. Now, if Irving could somehow get the Nets to the playoffs or better the championship then I think he will be satisfied by now. We could see his leadership now while KD is not around.

However the Blazers got a bad start tonight, they struggle at their own home and they can't even capitalize their advantage while Jokic was sitting early in the game due to foul trouble. it's just one game actually and I don't want to overreact, but they need to improve their defense especially in the 4th quarter when it matters a lot.

His debut by breaking records is a good start for him and teams Irving has the capability to maintain that record and I think this was his best factor to become one of the strong pillar of the team. On side of Kevin Durant, he put much effort for the team from their previous games which always considered their core strength in meeting their every goals. His recovery stage, somehow crack down one of the best asset for them but its not yet done because this is now time to unleash their strongest line up of the game.

Maintaining that record is difficult, maybe its more realistic if we expect from him to average at least 25 ppg this season since Durant will not play this season. On side of Kevin Durant, he put much effort for the team from their previous games which always considered their core strength in meeting their every goals. His recovery stage, somehow crack down one of the best asset for them but its not yet done because this is now time to unleash their strongest line up of the game.
When Durant will be back, Nets will improve as a team but we will not likely see him this season but we can still expect that Nets will be a playoff contender as East are weaker compared to the east in terms of competition.

If Brooklyn defense improves as the season goes then they will be a strong top 4 in the East. Kyrie will be back as a scoring machine especially Durant is yet to return. They will become more dangerous once Kevin Durant returns late season or in the playoffs. Milwaukee, Philly and the other teams will be avoiding a Brooklyn match up like a plague once an announcement telling KD returns in the playoffs.

He didn't do well in Boston either and his former teammates was not so happy with his attitude according to some sources. Let's see if he matured already to lead his current team and not start the blame game when they start losing more games.
