Yes, this is a very interesting topic and I also think that CP3 will not retire, I still manage to play a few seasons as he is "only" 36 years old, I believe he has another 3 or 4 years in the NBA, because it's more or less at this age that many players retire (of course this is not a rule)
You are probably right that Paul might be able to play at least three more seasons. However, it is worth noting that Paul has a player option in his contract for next season. It means he can stay with the Suns for one more season, or he might become an unrestricted free agent. So I won’t be surprised if he decides to join the lakers. The trio of Paul, James, and Davis would look very strong.

I do believe that he won't retire, he just had a taste of the finals, he wanted to get another crack at it again and hopefully they will be successful.

I don't think they need reinforcements, what they lack in this championship series is the experience. Majority of them have no or 0 championship experience, or even going into the playoffs.

As compare to the Bucks who has suffered in the hands of Toronto and Miami. I think that's enough for them to be battle tested in this year and chase their dreams to win the championship for this season.

Unless he really got some career threatening injuries, yeah he could still manage to play at least 3 years and chase his dream. We don't know though how he takes care of his body, but I have seen Lebron James really investing a lot on conventional and non conventional trainings that's why he has able to reach high level basketball even if he is already the same age as Paul.

Speaking of Lebron, perhaps everyone will be interesting to hear this news:

https://www.complex.com/sports/lebron-james-first-active-nba-player-billionaire/

Jordan didn't become a billionaire until he retires, but it's a different era so we can't compare it though.

But this is something though, with his NBA salaries and endorsements and business, I'm not surprised that he reached this status.

Well, I'm not against it. Besides, it's the wisest thing for him to do is to join with the Lakers. The Suns might not be able to make it to the Finals again, not because of the current line up but the possibility for other teams in the West to upgrade their roster. Even If the Suns retain their team chemistry and roster, still they can't beat a healthy Brooklyn Nets, let alone the Milwaukee Bucks. But the again, before we jump to the next NBA finals, teams in West like the Mavs, Lakers, Clippers, or Jazz might upgrade their roster.

Well, I agree with you, I think Mavericks, Jazz, and Clippers need some upgrade but for the Clippers, I think they are good already, they just have to ensure that Leonard will be healthy in the playoffs so they'll be able to compete. PG has really lived up to the challenge, he was legit in the playoffs and we confirmed that he has become a playoff George, and actually, I believe that they could have win the series against the Suns if Leonard were able to play.

The next season is so far away and I saw on social media that people are already praying and telling that Clippers will win next year. Now , let me be very clear when I say that Clippers will struggle again and it might be the last year for Kawhi there.

Another hot topic is the move of Dame but personally I don't see him going anywhere this year as well. What I do see , is that the end of 2022 we will have major transfers of players as some of them are at the end of contract as some of them simply don't have a strong team to rely on.

Its there fans asking that to happen and its pretty normal.

But I don't like the idea of leaving if they didn't win a championshio since if kawhi like that to happen well he should help his team if not on stats maybe to helo them increase there morale in the game but this championship winning is kinda not gonna happen for then next year since solid teams are still intact to their team and he will strugle if he just rant and asking for good perfornance to his teammates.

Clippers do struggle because of the injury of Leonard, if he was healthy, then we might see a different result in the NBA Finals as they will be likely the favorites to win the championship. let us not forget that Kawhi beat Giannis' team when he was still playing with the Toronto Raptors and on the same year, he led the Raptors to achieve their first championship.

Exactly, they lose their number 1 scorer and Paul George just have to take care of the suns by himself the Suns in the series, and we saw the result, Clippers loss in 6 games, but if Leonard was there, I also confident that the Clippers will come out as victorious. Leonard is an all-around player, and just like what we saw in the NBA Finals, from the Suns' roster, no one could stop Giannis, so I also see that no one could stop Leonard.

Just awkward and funny to think though, Booker + Middleton + Holiday all Olympic bound and could possibility in the same plane going to Japan.  Grin. Last game they tried to kill each other and now they are team mates and possible to bring home another Olympic basketball gold for the US team.  Grin.
But I think those three Olympians will be okay.
After the Game 6 end buzzer I saw Booker stayed and congratulate the Bucks team, unlike CP3 who made his way to the dugout. No butthurt for Booker but it was a lot for CP3 because of his age.

I also read rumours of CP3 or Russell Westbrook teaming up in Lakers jersey. For now it's a fantasy, but who knows, maybe Westbrook is willing to be traded again in the West. But it will cost a lot from the Lakers.
The Lakers' salary cap will be the issue here. They will have to let go of a lot of their players to acquire those big names.
Oh, and the Lakers are already making some moves this early. Here is one.

The qualifying offer for Horton-Tucker is $1.9 million, according to ESPN front office insider Bobby Marks, and will make the 20 year old a restricted free agent, allowing the Lakers to match any outside offer to retain their former second-round pick.

CP3 does have an attitude like Lebron, lol.. but CP3 is worst because he does not show sportsmanship, he thought he is the real point god when he is not, lol.. CP3 deserves that loss knowing his attitude.

I agree, Westbrook and CP3 are both high paid players, if the Lakers can afford it, they only need one and let go of some players.
Since CP3 and Lebron James are friends in real life, then they can work together and bring the Lakers into championship again.

Though everything was finish now, but yeah I agree if Kawhai was there maybe different things happened in the finals, but same if Lakers and Nets are all healthy as those franchise was the heavy favorite to win the title.

But then, shit happened and those unexpected injuries hurt the team, we all see how the season ended and Bucks won the title.

for next year, even Kawhai will play with the Clippers, we will expect more changes from each teams and for sure managements who are eager to win the title will adjust and do everything that they can to have that chance to crown as world champion.

I loosely watched the whole finals, so I wasn’t watching every game all game but it ended up being a much better series than I had expected. It was also really nice not seeing a “super team” win it all. I love how Giannis said that he’s not all about the whole super team concept and that this was the hardest way to win and took a great deal of pride in. Could this be the end up super teams? Likely not but we shall see.

Could this be the end up super teams? Likely not but we shall see.

The idea of building a superteam will always be associated with the league while it's moving forward. As I mentioned before way back here, having a set of good role players is much better compare to having 2-3 superstars on a team so I don't really mind these superteams.

I really don't take it as superteams are unbeatable and a sure win to the championship due to several factors such as;

a) injuries and we all saw it these playoffs creating lots of "what if" scenarios
b) underperforming (choke)
c) big adjustment by the opposing team
d) sudden chemistry problem

and many more..

e. personal problems to each other

I have seen this one too to be included on the  list. We've  seen that there are star players on a team but they do really have that limited time between playing completely which i do have doubts that they do have this kind of problem.

Its true that having 2-3 superstars on a team doesnt guaranteed a ring or championship and lots had really hoped for LAC to win up this year but look at what happened?

CP3 is the head of the players association so he can't just "I am going to play for minimum salary and try to get a ring", if he could have done that he would have so many years ago but he wasn't looking to be in trouble. If you end up with not getting the maximum money you can and avoid that in order to get a ring, then how could other players trust your judgment when it comes to negotiating salaries against the teams?

These days it is easy to say to players they are not getting more money, but NBA is making more and more profit in the long term and that means teams are going to make more and more profit in the long run as well, even if a team loses money in a season, they make a lot more than that in valuation, if you lost 100 million dollars a season but your team gained 250 million dollars in value you are still in profit, so players will eventually want more, and CP3 needs to be honoring that path in order to stay there. Or he may end up retiring from that position and move to Lakers who knows? It is basketball, anything could happen.

The next season is so far away and I saw on social media that people are already praying and telling that Clippers will win next year. Now , let me be very clear when I say that Clippers will struggle again and it might be the last year for Kawhi there.

Yeah the game will be totally different if Kawhi is healthy but it looks like he always got injured in crucial games   Cheesy maybe he need to adjust on the game so that he can last on his play off run. Also we cannot compare the  raptors rooster to bucks before since even then Raptors have solid players which can able to win a champ without Kawhi, Siakam and Vanvleet also got huge contribution to that past championship compare to know where seems the Clippers rooster are so relying to Kawhi since George is a season player.

I would nor.ally agree with you but George played great.  If kahwi was healthy it certainly been a different series with the Suns.  Suns might have still won but kahwi going down was huge.

The Lakers rumors are already heating up. Today’s word on the street is that Demar Derozan and Kyle Lowry want to team up on the Lakers. I could see them both taking a lot less money to make that happen given Derozan’s desire for a ring as well as playing in Los Angeles, while Lowry definitely wants to play with his friend again and see him succeed. My only question is if those players are really the catch they were several years ago… Personally, I’d take Dame over them both without question.

Actually as early as the beginning of last year season, Lowry wanted out of Toronto and there are news that he is heading to Lakers already. But the deal fizzled out, and eventually Lowry has to play in Toronto's jersey's again for the remainder of the regular season and obviously they suffered with Lowry not playing.

Yeah, Dame is an easy pick, good addition and Lakers can do a trade, any players at their roster not name Lebron and Davis.

Well... that's an interesting subject, I don't know if CP3 would leave the Suns, because he was the first team he made it to the NBA Finals, if CP3 goes to the another team they'll probably call him a cupcake.
The Suns are a good team, but I think some adjustments need to be made.
I don't know what Antetokounmpo's contract with the Bucks looks like, but I believe it's easier for Antetokounmpo to go to the Lakers or Warrios than CP3.
Antetokounmpo kept his word and he with other players, they brought a title for Bucks

Ayton and Booker played in the NBA Playoffs for the first time last playoffs so maybe there is a bit of a problem there especially the experience factor but now that they've already experienced it and they know the feeling, they will come back stronger this year.

Let the core players stay like Paul, Booker and Ayton. Trade some players especially their bigs. I'm thinking right now if they might get Howard or Love into the team. For sure that would be a great addition to their inside defense or even just another big that isn't prone to injuries. They will improve for sure Smiley
I think it will be interesting for the Suns to bring tall and experienced player to help Ayton. A PF or C would make a big difference. Some players I believe would be a good fit... Drummond, Brook Lopez, Steve Adams, Myles Turner and others.
But for that, the Suns will have to propose a very interesting offer for these players.
