In today's rumors, the Lakers apparently are trying to work a deal to trade Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook for Ben Simmons and Kyrie Irving.  I don't think the Nets would do this, but maybe...  Simmons and Kyrie are headaches while Anthony Davis is considered to be a top tier player with a lot of time left in his career.  With Russell's contract being a negative and Anthony Davis looking to end up in Chicago eventually, I think the Nets would be dumb to do this trade.  LeBron is a fan of Ben Simmons and has won a championship with Kyrie though, so it's a possibility...  With how wacky Simmons and Kyrie are, anything could happen.

In addition, there was a contrary rumor a few days ago that the Lakers have no plans to trade Anthony Davis at all.

I don't see why any team would want to keep Anthony Davis or acquire him. He is injured and sits out more then half of every season since entering the NBA. The Lakers are just bleeding money keeping his bum ass.

It is hard to imagine the Lakers letting go on AD in exchange for 2 divas Kyrie and Simmons. But maybe the Lakers are so desperate while Lebron still has it? If so, then they can get rid on injury prone AD and Westbrick. Kyrie-Lebron might work and if not they can trade Kyrie. Simmons is the problem. He ain't putting buckets while Kyrie and Bron gives him the openings. And it would be hard to trade Simmons knowing his attitude and his $40+ million salary up to 2025.

If what you mean by this is less game load, yeah it could probably work. It would put more burden to other players like Lebron/Westbrook to produce more and cover the points though. Maybe if they can find a solid young big to fill in during his absence.

At the end of the day, it depends on the priority of the players (another ring or big payday). They already have the ring that only a handful will achieve in their career and they can choose to chase max contracts in other teams now if GSW couldn't convince them to take less.

They've got budget for it so, I guess that's how they're going to keep it up and figure it out. They want to hit the ring again for the next season and that's why they have to pull out cash to retain these two.

We cannot expect much about it because he's not drafted on NBA so meaning he need to improve more so that he became something big in NBA. But knowing lakers and Lebron want's fast process maybe he still cannot get decent minutes on lakers knowing that this team still have good players.

But let see how they improve their skills because somehow people keep looking for their performance to provide on their respective team.

That is how the owners sound during the interview in the last part of their parade.
They are sure they want to keep them all even if it means they will spend a lot of money. This will be the biggest luxury tax ever in the league if ever it will be set in stone.
I am sure the roster deserves it as they worked hard for that championship even though they are not on the top of the list of every basketball analyst to be the champion this year. I am also part of those people who didn't expect it. It will be sweeter if they can make another one happen.

On his way to Houston, he suddenly found himself in Orlando.
Maybe we won't see an effect right away, but these players will be the stars of 3-4 years later. Now how Morant, Edwards, Doncic and Young became the stars of the league, their time will also come. I love this aspect of the draft. It can change the fate of teams. There is no such system in Europe, so in every country certain teams always win the championship.

It's still Houston Rockets for me who won the Draft 2022. Both are good forwards but I like Jabari more than him. I dont know if it's because of the weight as Paolo is bigger than Jabari. I like slim players in the forward position more to adapt with the small ball speed like how I picked RJ Barrett over Zion  Williamson at Draft 2019.
Now we could see the results, more injury prone for the bigger man than the slimmer one.

I think Houston and Detroit won the draft here.  Detroit had star pg in Jaden ivey fall on their laps and then traded to get jalen Duran, which effectively will solve theor pg and center position for the future.  Duran could have went top 10 as well so great haul for them.

From what I'm reading, the only team that's shown any interest at all is the Lakers.  I think they like the narrative of LeBron and Kyrie teaming up again and they see this as a possible opportunity to dump Westbrook.  No way is a Westbrook for Kyrie trade happening though.  Maybe if Anthony Davis and Ben Simmons trade places also...  You never know with the Lakers.  They seem to like making crazy roster moves the last several years.  Picking up both Kyrie and Ben Simmons at one though...  That will a locker room filled with more drama than anyone has ever seen.  Which I guess makes Los Angeles the perfect spot for it.

According to National Television Authority International (NTA'L) TV news this evening by 7:pm local time says. Brittaney Griner, American Basketball Star to stand (face) trial in Russia court on Friday on the first of July, 2022. That is 01/07/2022 on the charges of illegal cannabis (drugs) possession. And if she is found guilty of the crime, she will be jail to serve the prison for about 10 years. Now how old is she now that she would still serve prison with the whole 10 years in jail to add it to the years she is.

She was arrested when returning to play for Russia team at the airport. But her fans are trying to swap her with a terrorist that has 24 years prison jail terms. But for now she is on preliminary trial.
I also pray that she should be released.

I mean it is "sort of" like splurging money around. Meaning, yes there are caps in place to prevent these things from happening, so there will be a repeater horrible huge luxury tax that they will have to pay, it is going to cost them insane amount of money to keep all of these players there is no doubt about that at all.

However, if they decide to give max possible for ALL their players, they would still be able to do it, like not in the sense of money but in regards to rules, they have that right. It will result with them becoming the team that pays the most, and they would pay not only hundreds of millions of dollars to the players, but also record breaking number on luxury tax as well, but if they can afford it, then they can do it.

I would say this got way out of hand simply because she's an American, and the relationship between Russia and USA are definitely at all time low, the timing of the Russia Ukraine invasion, the reaction and the sanctions that followed suit from USA also played a huge part in this. Spending as long as two month to await trial for her charges is definitely politically influenced, but then again, what are the chances she wouldn't be found guilty or get the maximum sentence possible, I'd say zero. I feel bad for her, because this all couldn't have happened at a worse timing for her. I'm not sure how more diplomatic the USA can be in this case, and what Russia terms would be, but you'd expect an extravagant cost, that'd definitely bring some mixed from even the citizens of the country.

Some transfers (not necessarily Lebron) have been confirmed by either player agents or team but consider all trade talks as rumors at this point. You can wait for July 1 when teams can officially start these negotiations. When verifying claims and statements, you can simply track them on nba.com or other sports news channels. It's also where most of us get information.

Simply because he's the most consistent player, I think in the whole league, that even after an injury or long-hiatus, you can expect him to produce big numbers once he returned which most players can't do. There's no such thing as recovering the rhythm or adjusting to the situation for this guy. If you will do some recap of last season, Anthony Davis always goes rampage once he returns to the court. He's by far the consistent Laker player on the roster.

Even injury-prone, teams are likely to gamble as it is worth it instead of getting good names but showing inconsistencies in the game. Anyways, yes I agree it's a waste that the Lakers can't utilize him much because he is soft. I hope next season, he will remain healthy all year to make the competition tough.
